So its £367.68 in total,

You can get an unlocked desire for £230 so £137.68 for very limited minutes over 2 years.

You could get the t-mobile tariff for £7.50 on a 12 month contract with 600 mins, 500 texts and a booster say 500mb of data for £90 over the year!

So only £320 all in, a 12 Month contract and loads more mins and data!

If you have the cash to buy the desire outright I would think this one through ;)

Thanks Jake,

Did not want to plash the cash outright, it's for my son instead of his £20/month pocket money....

Seems like a good deal, although not sure you got the data part right.
250mb a day seems a lot, would have through its more like 250mb a month or is that what you mean.

Good phone though

yes you are quite right....250mb/month

Subject to a fair usage policy of 250MB data allowance per month and is for UK use only. On exceeding this allowance, you will be defaulted to the standard £1 per day charge for the rest of the billing month. £1 per day gives you 15MB data allowance per day. Upon using up this daily allowance, the standard charge for data access will apply (£2 per MB). Any unused monthly allowance cannot be rolled over to the next month.

I was under the impression that the desire was an upgrade for o2/orange/vodafone/t-mobile payg customers. Didn't apply to virgin paym £8.68 which my wife was with? If so I I guess I could have gone the t-mobile £7.66 (its half the Sim15 price which is £15.32pm) route getting 600mins/500txt and choice of booster instead of going t-mobile Pay Monthly £15.32 route (100mins/100Txts/500mb Internet AND free booster which I chose Ult landlines) which included the desire phone.

More minutes but assuming same £91.96 cost for 2yr too it works out as £412 for phone + sim15 contract vs £368 for paym15 route.

Guess it depends on how many minutes you use and as my wife has only used more than 100minutes once in the last 2yrs I guess I am ok with the choice I made.

Either one works out better deal than this so cold I am afraid ;)

with NO REDEMPTION type stuff with this mob.
You sure?
So who really sent me my £56 cashback cheque with Dialaphone written on it? oO

Not really sure is 250mb would be another for an android phone.. I know I use more than that a month, might end up costing you more if you go over.
