Seen in my local tesco metro. 24 pack of coke reduced from £8.25 to £5.00. Had a look online but item at original price, guessing instore only!

Can anyone confirm the £5 price please ? - where they've actually scanned & purchased for £5 rather than £6 as members seem to be finding. If they can then please report http://www.hotukdeals.com/forums/images/custom_buttons/report.gif this thread to be unexpired, thanks :)

Indeed. People should check, at a minimum, 5 nearby stores to verify that the offer isn't store specific. How dare they take the time to let others know about an offer with no material gain for themselves. Inconsiderate twerps.

Deal has been sighted and confirmed by picture of receipt in another store - why is deal still expired. If you want to be pedantic about this i'll take a photograph of store promotion. Surely the idea of hotukdeals is to let others know what deals you have spotted in order to notify members to look out for themselves....:x

We need new rules on store-specific stuff, if you live in London and there's a store specific deal in Hull you might vote cold even though it's something like a brand new plasma for £30...

Maybe this:

A store specific category, you MUST post the post code with the deal, and then you search by post code?

But how are people to know if it's store specific, to know to put it in that category?

I do agree that people should mention in their posts which branch of a store they found things in if it's instore.
