24 pack of pepsi £5 at Tesco

Pepsi for £5.00 is a good price, but not a real bargain, considering most cash & carry's doing them at £4.05 + VAT at mo, coke is around £6-£6.25+ VAT, so 24 cans @ £5.99 is HOT HOT HOT :p

For those who take to fizzy drinks because their stomach needs scrubbing out many times a day and not because they are addicted to the stuff, the benchmark price is £1.00 per 6 x 330ml pack making it 16.7 or 17 pence each.

As such, 24 cans for £5 [=20.8 pence each] is around 25% more even though the pennies do not look much more. We should not go through life counting the pennies, of course, but multipy that by 100's of cans and the desire for 25% more/free soon makes sense. For £6 per 24 pack, that's 50% free.

The benchmark bargain for 2 litre bottles is 75 pence each. Slow and steady might look mundane and boring but it's the gift that keeps giving all year round.

This is a permanent thing in farmfoods i've been purc hasing these for months now, all the same its a good deal so have some heat.

gunNbutter. . . it's not a benchmark if no1 is selling them at that price, apart from a wholesale supplier please show me where u can get a 6 pack of coca-cola for £1

Not sure how this is a hot deal if 6 pack is BOGOF at £2.85 in Co-Op...

2 x BOGOF 6 = 24 -> £5.70

Pepsi is always cheaper than Coke.

Pepsi, fanta etc. at 6 per £ is the best deal you can get. With coke 5 per £ is the best deal you can get. As such this is not that good a deal!
#11
The real deal sealer for me could be - coke zone points??
#12
asda are doing 30 cans of Coke, diet Coke and Coke Zero for £7.00 each :)

dude what are you on??? Can a get a little of it... LOL!!

I own a fast food take-away and if I agree to buy a pallet load of Coca Cola, which I think would be about 200 cases of 24 cans = lots and lots of coke, I can get a huge reduction and pay approx £5.60per case + VAT.... I don't know where you got this bench mark price from of 17p, if you can get me Coca Cola at that price, I will buy 10 pallets of you... Thanks dude, waiting for your response :whistling:

25p a can. Wow.

I don't think you understood his post...i think he was suggesting pepsi as an alternative to coca cola, at which point the 17p price makes sense.

Even Pepsi @ 17p is a quite cheap and rarely obtainable at that price

Why all the talk of other drink?

The deal is for COKE dont matter if you can get pepsi for 10p you can get water even cheaper.. not the point though is it.
#23
English or Irish made? anyone know? :-)
#24
This is a poor deal. you should never pay more than 25p per can of coke in multi packs. I always buy the 8 cans for £2 at asda, so why this is hot I dont know.
#25
coke zone anyone?? does this have it or not. usually farmfoods do retail packs not 'multipack'

Coke is 8 tins for £3 or 2 for £5 at our asda so its good deal for some people

Well thats probably because since you own a takeaway you can't buy the normal consumer ones which have 'part of a multipack' written on them - a good thing as it stops takeaways ripping the supermarkets and the consumers off.

Pepsi at 6 cans for £1 is quite easy to get, Lidl had them for £1.09 (a little more than 17p but close) and I'm sure Asda/Tesco also had them at 18 for £3.

Coke on the other hand is 5 cans for £1.

This deal is at Tescos also, its £6 not £5. Its £5 for pepsi, which is always cheaper.
