They reduce it this price every few months so I usually buy a few packs to stock up.

Why, doesn't everybody?

Most people double up and then there no reason to be licking your finger.

Not sure why this is so hot! Home Bargains always have packs of 18 comfy soft rolls which are fine for £2.99. So unless you have a very sensitive bum and have to use very soft paper go to Home Bargains!

This offer works out at 27p per roll – expensive by any standard – more so when you are deliberately visiting the place just to buy the item. Being the hygiene awareness moment, it would be benevolent to know that most cultures that use their hand to feed, teach people to use the non-feeding hand to handle hygiene – with water and without paper – the using of paper being a harsh and unhygienic method of cleansing oneself.

The ideas of “developed” and “undeveloped” being mostly nonsensical power trips for those who can only see as far as they dare to, in reality, “The West sins against The Mother” and “The East sins against The Father”. When viewed as a tree, Eastern culture is the root and Western culture is the foliage. A tree with a weak root system will eventually fall and without adequate foliage, a tree will not grow properly. To be aware, one has to be conscious first.

No idea how "most people" do it, clearly have not spent as much time in public lavatories as you...

I like the double rolls but they are hard to find. Tesco never deliver the double rolls, they always substitute the single rolls so I've given up on them. Waitrose sell them but I have to carry them home as I don't drive there. Why are they so hard to find and why don't they ever have deals on double rolls?
#19
I agree also this shouldn't be that hot. They are the same price of 27p per roll in Somerfield at the moment on offer at half price £2.50 for 9 rolls

This is a good deal...period. People comparing the quality of this brand to that of Tesco's et al need to familiarise themselves with the ply-rating system.
#21
Forget about the price per roll. I've been looking into this - sad but true! - and have realised that almost every brand of bog roll has a different number of sheets. No puns here thanks!!

So here are the results in reverse order:

2nd Somerfield Charmin at 15.4p /100sheets (£2.50 for 9 rolls)
1st Lidl Charmin at 15.0p /100 sheets (£6.49 for 24 rolls)

Mentioned in despatches - Sainsbury 13.1p/100 sheets (Own Label 16rolls incl 4 fee for £5.04)

I'll let someone else try the finger test to see which is the stronger of Charmin or JS OL to see how many sheets one needs per sitting :w00t:
