Latest season of 24 for Pre-order at Tesco Entertainment

This is the cheapest I've seen it by far!

It's not released til October - but with Tesco's price promise, if the price goes up, you still pay £25.97!

I expect this is another misprice that they won't honour.
#2
Dirt cheap!
#3
Very cheap
#4
Serious misprice. It will be amazing if they honour it but I've gone for it anyway.

Cheap as chips... the pre-order price promise may well mean that those who go for this get it at this price. H&R added.
#6
on a preorder, do tesco take money now?
#7
Awesome deal if they honour it, which from their price promise they should (but there is probably something in the Ts and Cs saying they can withdraw under exceptional circumstances or something).

Season 7 is still nearly double this price on blu ray everywhere!
#8
Now seen episode 10 and its a pretty good series.
#9
Heat added as it's a good price.

Terrible show now though. Don't know why I still watch it.

because Jack will kick your ass if you dont and its up there with the jerry springer drinking game, every time jack says dammit you have a drink.
#11
says "this item is unavailable for order at this time" when you click on the buy button, seems a misprice that they've pulled.

edit: hmm, scratch that, just tried again and it went in the basket, weird!
#12
Have some heat hombre.

Have to agree. Last series was back on form, but this one seems a bit lacklustre.
Good deal though, still.

Jack Bauer is the new Chuck Norris :p

The only reason you will live for saying that about Jack is because Jack chose to let you live.
#19
Do they take the money out now?

If so I cant get it!!!! No.
#20
just ordered mine, worth a punt
#21
Also ordered one

you never know just got to wait 7 months now.......
#22
I predict a mass culling of orders a few days before it releases.
#23
Ordered!

Fingers crossed they come through...
#24
Its a good price but with being Tescos they will hike price up and claim its a miss price just before release ..they do this quite regular so don't believe price promise claims ;-)
#25
ordered!

Is there an option to cancel, couldnt see an option!
banned#26
I'm very tempted this, but don't know if I want to take risk of the price being hiked.
#27
Voted Hot and ordered....if the price goes up i will cancel...T&C's state you can...
#28
Worked fine for me just now.
Got the "Inglorious Basterds" blu-ray for £9.98 a while ago when it was £15.98 at the time of despatch so this may well come off.
#29
Erm...did anyone pre order 'Men Who Stare At Goats' blu ray from them the other week? Price was £3.97 I think.

There's a huge thread on it somewhere, everyone complaining when they realised the misprice & cancelled all the orders.

Expect an email come Monday morning cancelling your order without so much as an apology!!

That said...you've gotta be in it to win it
#30
Worth a punt as the usual DVD is about this. Ordered mine
#31
Do they take payment instantly or upon dispatch?
#32
forget it, they wont honour that price
#33
As others have said gotta be in it to win it! For every 10 of these I order 1 always seems to work! Got Tony Hawks Ride off Play.com for £37.99. Realised it was rubbish and sold for profit!

On Release date:
If you pre-order a product which has not yet been released, we will charge you for the product on the release date.

Don't forget Quidco too, I ordered a set too, it's worth a try. :)

1. 4.

If, by mistake, we have under priced a product, we will not be liable to supply that product to you at the stated price, provided that we notify you before we despatch the product to you. In those circumstances, we will notify the correct price to you so you can decide whether or not you wish to order the product at that price. If you decide not to order the product, we will give you a full refund on any amount already paid for that product in accordance with our refund policy in section 6 below

Highly unlikely, but worth a go!!

Im sure they will say "by mistake, we underpriced this product......"

You know, Im surprised Tesco dont pay someone to just scan HUKD all day every day looking for their pricing errors! Lol!
#36
Excellent deal even though it's probably the worst series yet!
#37
Wouldn't bother with this... Tesco never honour anything. In fact putting Tesco and honour in the same sentance is a joke.

The number of deals Tesco don't honour even after taking the money from your account has put me off them for life!

Waste of time!

Exactly - Tesco now have a pretty bad reputation for doing this, I'm surprised that so many people here are willing to think they might honour this price!

I would bet my house that they don't.
#39
Tesco's price promise is you pre order a dvd then if the price goes up before release they just cancel your order. Good price but they will only end up cancelling your order.
#40
Not out til Ocitber? They are just clever and pre-emptin the fact that blurays will cost the same as DVDs do now by then :)
