It does, quite suddenly, but at night mainly. We needed to use blankets to sleep, and I dont tend to feel the cold but we did need jumpers or jackets in the evening when having dinner out. . During the day when it didnt rain (it rained a LOT) it was lovely, about 70f, very comfortable to walk around in. . This is how it was on the two occasions I was there that late in the year. Also, everything closes at the end of September, the reps go home to Britain, souvenir shops and restaurants close, it's like arriving at a party when everyone has gone and the last of the glasses are being cleared away. Also the locals, nice as they are, are tired of the sight of us after a long summer season. If you are staying in apartments which have their own bar, snack bar, etc, they often close these facilities too, so you get a kind of ghost town feel. I think thats a bit unfair that they do that.

However.... this is a great deal, and you never know, you might beat the odds and have great weather, beaches can't be "closed", and if it's a really good hotel complex and you don't mind not going out to eat etc, it might suit you fine.

Who'd go on holiday alone?
#14
There are LOADS of deals like this on Teletext holidays. You can even check only for your local airport.

And it's going to be axed next year, so make the most of it.

completely wrong.

london produces well over 25% of the gdp of this country yet only has about 12% of the population.

Providing you book well in advance, it costs almost nothing to travel down to London for your Holiday flights - it's not uncommon to see tickets for £10 each way on www.thetrainline.com
Hopping on a train for a couple of hours is hardly a great hassle in the grand scheme of Holiday travel time !
