Mixed reviews on TripAdvisor (for those not used to that site, nothing ever gets perfect reviews...). Seems a decent deal for the price as long as you don't get too carried away by some of the blurb...

We've been to quite a few Greek islands but after discovering Spain fairly late on the Greek islands now feel a little down market TBH. In some ways it can be part of their charm if you're staying some where small and traditional, but the larger resorts, as far as I can see, tend to be pretty grotty.

What does it for me is the bottom wipe bin next to the loos. One of the oldest civilisations in the world and they can't widen their plumbing a bit - not even in the newer resorts either.

don't forget to book with a credit card in case this travel company also goes bust.. Great deal though!

This is located in a beautiful and relatively quiet part of the island. I stayed about 5 miles up coast at the Yaliskari Palace and the surroundings were idyllic. AG alson has a lovely long beach too if I remember correctly! Great spot for couples or elders fancying a quiet holiday, not so good though if partying and nightlife is your bag (best heading across to Benitzez for that).
Shame flights are only from Gatwick, bit far from me (Devon). Still a hot deal......

hot deal from me.. corfu is a lovely island and cant ( IMO) be compared to Spain which sucked for me ..

great price

I have to be honest, it sounds like a dump to me. Almost everyone on Tripadvisor said the food was awful - even the ones who liked the place.

I've stayed all inclusive quite a few times at various hotels and AI normally amounts to buffets. A la carte sounds like it would be a choice from a menu and waiter service - basically, normal restaurant service.

TBH we've stayed at some top notch 4 star all inclusive places during peak time in the summer and the price offered for this doesn't sound all that great for off peak when the season's ended. Another thing is that Greek 4 star is different to Spanish 4 star.

Like Red said, the all inclusive main diner will be a buffet style.
The Al a Carte at resorts I've stayed at aren't markedly different form the buffet.

As for warmth, I've stayed in Greece in May and October and its plenty hot enough.

Greece and its islands are variable in quality.

I stay in a place where not many English people go (no chavs) and it has excellent plumbing is better than most places I've stayed in in Spain.

Plus the all inclusive is cheap, and not so common in Spain.
I've compared where I go sometimes in Rhodes 500 quid all in. Equivalent quality, say at the Melia Del Mar in Mallorca would be a grand + my food. But again, it puts it out of chav range which is nice :)

Off peak in Oct/May/June also great times to go, as no kids screaming and blocking the pools.
Bear in mind all inclusive are attractive to families for cost, so off peak is recommended if you want peace and quiet.

Nice spot Flumpy.

Corfu is lovely. But take your thermals when you go into that ice sea.

I agree with most of what you say but being a chav has nothing to do with how much money you have. Plenty of rich chavs about.
