You don't ACTUALLY think that B&M sells mainly end-of-line stuff any more do you??? It might have done when it had a few skanky shops around Blackpool, but now they get offers just like the supermarkets.

25 for £2 just means it's their turn for a promotional offer.

I stocked up when Tesco were doing 80 for £4.99

Do I still need separate salt and rinse aid with this?

I remember B & M's first ever shop down a back alley in Cleveleys, it was like the Tora Bora cave complex in Afghanistan.

depends on wether you live in a hard water area,if you do then i suggest u still use rise aid and salt

the machine keeps asking for them when they're empty. it still works tho - it just blinks me the red light saying its empty and needs salt and rinse aid

Look inside your kettle - if there's a lot of limescale in there then you're probably in a hard-water area.

If your dishwasher seems to wash fine without adding salt and rinse aid then you're probably ok. If I try to use mine when the lights are blinking I get horrible sand-like residue baked onto the glasses. At our old house (very hard) if we didn't add them everything came out really cloudy.

These are meant to be all-inclusive so it shouldn't harm your dishwasher if you don't add them (most dishwasher products are now supposed to be 3-in-1) but judge it by how well it washes your dishes without.

Suppose I'm just lucky. :)
Sometimes, when I'm feeling extra "economical" I just use the rinse cycle.
It works, yanno?! 8)
