Not as good as some of the recent offers, but that doesn't make it any less of an offer!

Obviously I won't vote either way. But I certainly won't purchase. In the last few months I have seen itunes prices rise to 99p per track. Whilst their competitors' tracks are 49p - 79p. Before you buy any more music I would urge you to use Martin Lewis's Tunechecker website at tunechecker.com. I wanted various songs last night like Muppet song, Rolf Harris Christmas song, Rhianna's latest and they were cheaper at Play.com and others. So my point is these vouchers only really make sense for apps and games. For music, they are becoming a waste of money.

What the vouchers or the songs? The voucher codes can be entered in itunes or into the ipod under redeem. The songs from non-itunes sites are usually DRM free. And if they are not in mp3 format, itunes converts them.

As OP says not as good as other recent deals, but itunes are becoming too expensive. I have been purchasing all my music from Amazon recently. Some tracks are 29p!!!

To add them to your ipod is easy.

in itunes, click file and then "add file to library" or "add folder to library." Then select the music file you purchased from Amazon (which appears in an Amazon MP3 folder in your my music section) or any other site. Click add, and its in your library. From there just drag it to your ipod as normal

I have just got back from Sainsburys in Wigan. There were no gift cards on display, I had to ask as they keep them under the counter at the till near the phones & ipods. When I asked about the £25 ones being £20 the assistant said she was not aware of an offer. She asked a colleague, he knew nothing. I asked if she would mind checking the price, which she reluctantly did, and the till showed "multi buy -5.00". A bit misleading as it is not a multi buy but who cares it worked :)

The assistant thanked me for telling them about the offer, although as it is not advertised in store I doubt they will get very many buyers, except folk from this site. Seems strange to me to have an offer and not advertise it. Unless it has been added to the till system ready for an advertsing campaign starting tomorrow, or we have been exploiting a glitch on their system.

Thanks Jakejakejake, my Christmas present are all sorted now :santa:

Most of the itunes card offers aren't widely advertised by in-store retailers. But most of the postings on this site are accurate.

Tried getting one earlier and it came up full price. Seems it's finished now, unless I was just unlucky?

It was the regular design as opposed to the christmas one, if that makes a difference?

Just got back from the Wallington store, and it scanned at full price. So I'll wait for another offer to turn up.
