25% off all Wine at Tesco

Buy 6 or more bottles of wine at Tesco and they knock 25% off your bill at the till.
Same deal as regularly runs at Sainsburys.
Available online too.
Deal includes Champagne, Port and Sherry.
Couldn't see an expiry date instore but these offers are normally only for a few days, so move now.

They've got a bottle of Champers down to £9.99 at the mo', so it's only £7.50 with this offer.
I'm not saying that it's good or bad champers, I don't like the stuff anyway.

Good timing for stocking up for crimbo.

Use in conjunction with the £15 off a £50 spend and you can get some real bargains!

I just got 6 x Lideman's Bin 50 Shiraz and 6 x Lindeman's Bin 40 Merlot for £44.60 delivered. £3.71 a bottle!

Deutz champagne is good stuff, especially at £70.99 delivered [with code]

Offer ends Sunday 25th November (added to OP)

Note though that the £15 off voucher above expires this Sunday (18th), so don't leave it too long to order

Thanks barginfan

1 litre of Harveys Bristol Cream Sherry (you obviously have to buy it in cases of 6) works out as £4.28 a bottle (excluding delivery) - BARGAIN!!! Well, it is if you like the stuff.

And also the 1 litre bottles of the Croft Original is £4.62 a bottle. With the 1000 point code, this is very good.

Strangely, the 75cl bottles of the cream sherry are more expensive...

Can anyone explain why the Wine Festival code that I'd banked (says it's valid until the 19th) will not apply to my order? when I try to pick a delivery slot (earliest being on the 20th) it says I can't use it on that order. I thought the voucher expiry date referred to the date you placed the order, not the day you had it delivered? Just my luck!

I had serious problems with my last wine delivery, they didn't even attempt to deliver it and when I spoke to the store (CS put me through) it turned out I wasn't even on their list for a delivery. They certainly took the money out of my account and then took 5 working days to refund it!

Of course, the £15 voucher I used that time now says it has been used the maximum number of times so it was obviously not reset. I had to call Tesco CS 5 times and the final time (5 days after the delivery was due) I just cancelled it because I was so p****d off. I was told each time I called that someone from the store would call me back to rearrange delivery and I got nothing from them each time. Wrote a letter to CS about 2 weeks ago and still no response from that!

Anyone else had this hassle with Tesco? What was the outcome if you did? Only ever had a problem before with my first delivery which didn't turn up either, on that occasion CS instantly said I should place the order again and I could use the voucher I'd used and also gave me another tenner off so I was very happy. This time...not so much...harumph!

Can anyone clarify - is this 25% offer and the voucher for wine at Tesco Groceries or Tesco Wine (or both)?
#14
Have just tried the £15 off code but got this message:-

Sorry, the code 'XXR32V' could not be accepted. The code may be invalid, could have been mistyped or might be only for use in another store (e.g. you cannot use grocery eCoupons on books orders). Ref: EC01.

Am I doing something wrong, or is the code withdrawn?

PS: I DID put in the dash in the code, it just seems to be omitted in the error message. Thanks for any help.

In the wine bank the 25% discount is showing and the discounted price is given on each item (box).

If you are buying the wine with your groceries, the discount will not show at all.The discount will be applied when delivered by the store.Just make sure your delivery is not after the last day of the 25% discount offer or it will deffo not be applied.

Isn't the £2 off the 25% discount? It looks like all prices are reduced on page, no further discount apart from codes?

Or am I reading it wrong?

INSTORE.
The price you see advertised may well be reduced already, there are always promotions of some kind, BUT you will ALSO get 25% off at the till if you buy at least 6 bottles of wine. They don't have to be the same wine either.

ONLINE pt 1.
The Wine Club prices are already showing the 25% reduction, BUT you can ALSO use one of the vouchers available for a £15 reduction if you spend at least £50.

ONLINE pt 2.
Anybody can correct me here, but I understand that the ONLINE prices in the general groceries section WILL receive the 25% off if you buy at least 6 bottles BUT THIS DISCOUNT IS DONE AT THE DELIVERY END OF THE PROCESS. So will not show on your order form as you sit in front of your computer.

Hope this helps someone.
Remember to drink sensibly.........hic.

Best cheap Tesco plonk I've tried is the Cellier des Dauphin now at £16.03 for a case of 6. Has a silver medal award on the bottle too. £2.67 a bottle equiv and that's before the £15 off if you spend over £50. Unfortunately you have to buy 4 cases to qualify.:whistling:
4*£16.03 + £5 deliv - £15 discount = £54.12 which equates to £2.25 a bottle. Can't go wrong.

Hello All

Has anyone managed to place an order between 10 am and 4.30PM today throught the Tesco wine club please? I haven't been able to get a payment through checkout for all that time. I called Tesco and they tried to do it for me on my behalf but they couldn't get it to work either. They said it must be a system fault and to try a few hours later. Despite several attempts, over nearly 7 hours, it just isn't working for me.

Would be interested to hear if anyone else has had problems today.

NB: It is a payment through the Wine Club-Wine By The Case Department, NOT the ordinary groceries wine department I am trying to use

Thanks for any input.

If you want a laugh phone tesco and ask what this deal means!!!!
Some customer service staff say what is on screen is what you pay and some say that the discount is taken of when your card is debited.
So far 2 say one thing and 2 say another.

Great fun!!!!!
#37
a bit off track this question - why won't tesco accept clubcard vouchers unless you have the clubcard with you ?
surely if i could prove my identity it shouldn't be a problem .
#38
I tell you what, phone 'em up and ask. You'll enjoy the various answers. lol
#39
BEWARE! BEWARE!

Have spoken to the definitive supervisor and he says that what you see is what you pay.

NO MORE DISCOUNT for all you who think there is.

(I think) lol
#40
How can the wine already be discounted. The deal is buy 6 bottles to get the 25% discount. What happens if you only buy one,do they then add the 25% back on.LOL.
As far as i can see,the online prices are the same as normal, except for the ones that are on special offer (Not the 25% discount offer). All the special offer wines promotion finishes on 18th nov,the 25% discount runs till 25th nov.
