Can combine with other bottles including the small 18 cl so would mean less spend - also litre bottles of Harveys sherry at £10 - discount would take it to £7.50 ....... a mere trifle!

This is a "ruby", never believe what public relations wo/man's "make good of rubbishing language" words like "special" ; "reserve", "select", "established xxx years", just compare £ with personal experience and shop around as there are 4 types of port for UK market, ruby, x years tawny, LBV and white. All those extra words means not much until you experienced it.
.
Got 6, even cheaper @£5.06/0.75l than Tesco's 6 at 25% off of Cockburn's Special Reserve 1L @£10 which worked out to be £5.62/0.75l , but good value. Same price as last year @£6.75 per bottle. (Worked out at £4.73 per bottle for me as I have a £2 voucher for £20 spend.)
.
At its (Dow) original price of £10 standard price per bottle, I wouldn't buy this as I think far better to shop the Maynard LBV or 10 year tawny for £9 at Aldi now.
.
Nearly 6 years' ago it (Dow) was cheapest at £4.75 per bottle after 2 for £10 offer then 5% discount for 6 bottles. So the offer bottom price is now about the same as it was. (in 2010 it was €1.18 and now (Dec 2016) €1.12 , so exchange rate not much changed.
