It may be a relatively good deal but a gimmick is a gimmick is a gimmick. I've got my Dyson, it's a gimmick. I got so fed up with it I went out and bought a proper hoover, a Henry, and I've never used the Dyson since.

Had a DC24 for over a year and love it. You can read my vac-tastic review here

Good deal, but not a hugh saving as currently £228.99 from Amazon and Dixons. Voted Hot though.

I've got a ball animal - have to say it has really made my hoovering a lot easier!
#5
Bring manufacturing back to the UK and I'll buy one at full price.

spot on - have had a Dyson and it packed in after a year or so. Bought a Henry still going strong after 4 years.

I also have a 'Enry 'Oover and although I've possibly spent a fair few quid on bags, it's still the best Vacuum cleaner that I've owned. I did have the older upright Dyson cleaner but it fell apart!

All said and done though, +1 from me as it's a good deal if you want to buy one and since this is a deal finder forum and not a review site......have some heat.

had a dyson for the past 6 years - still going strong. Might update to one of these - best hoovers ever

It's not a Hoover, it's a Dyson Vacuum Cleaner :-D

I agree with above post its a marketing gimmick just buy this one save your self some money

Was wondering how long it would take for the Henry brigade to chip in....:o
#12
Why are Dysons so damn ugly??!
#13
5 year warranty too from Dyson not to be sniffed at.
#14
Superb bit of marketing really. How many of these are used by professional cleaners? I find our Dyson is ok at picking up dust but anything larger like small gravel, cat litter etc it just doesnt want to know. The Henry on the other hand will suck anything, reminds me of a girl in college.

I'll second that.

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz Another Henry bore, get over it.
This is a thread about a hot deal on a Dyson, if you have a hot deal on a Henry go post it.

Sounds like your Dyson needs a bit of routine maintenance.

I bought a DC-25 to replace a Henry.

There is a massive difference, the Dyson picks up loads more compares to the Henry. The Dyson beats the Henry hands down. Good deal.

omg i wanna ball so badly!
#20
where do u put promotional code???? i wanna see if friends30 still works?!?!
#21
I got a DCO1 ten years ago and it's still going strong, as is the DC04 I got for my mum about 4 years ago.

Swapped my mum's DC04 for one of these a few months ago as the DC04 is quite heavy and she's got a shoulder injury, she's really pleased since this is less than half the weight and does the job just as well.

I've tried, seems if you select the link with 25% off it removes the promotion code box.

You'd have to find some workers which tends to be rather difficult in the UK..

Great cleaners but have been cheaper recently. Got my DC25 Animal for less than £200.
#26
at last a deal that promotes topcashback instead of quidco :)
dont see why everybody on here loves quidco so much, you have to pay an admin fee with them every year
#27
i live near the UK home of dyson and bought a DC14 when it came out from a mate who worked at the factory for 1/2 price as thats the cost of them so 25% off is Good but not the lowest they can go...

I would love if they were all made in the UK but JD had planning applications for more factory space denied by local councils !! ***** ..... so thats why they went abroad to make em !
#28
Thanks for the heads up on this deal been looking for a good price for the dc25 for a while and this is certainly the cheapest I have seen. Awaiting delivery now.

Placed my order last night, but as someone else pointed out the promotion code box was not there. I called them last night and asked about my promotion code. They suggested I call this morning, as they could not yet see my order.
I also sent a few emails.
Got someone going to call me back this afternoon, regarding the promotion code. They did confirm the 25% off was counted as a promotion, but I'll wait and see what they offer...

update: this link is apparently a business link that has been discovered by the wider consumer community, and due to the 25% off, there can not be any further benefits on this sale. Got cut off early due to poor mobile reception...

mmm, tempted to suggest cancelling, and see what they offer/ shopping around again???

update 2: canceled order. Got the 'service for ~£62.
I know I need a new connector tube ~£22/ new filter (lifetime)/ possible new motor.
Engineer has been. He replaced the motor, replaced an internal tube, replaced the dust collector container, and ordered a new connector tube. Basically almost a new dyson for ~£62, with an older shell :) Well impressed. Much more environmentally friendly, than buying a new one. Also better for the UK economy to have the engineer working than an offshore place build new stuff.

Just spoke to Customer Service and they are saying the Soft dusting brush and the Dyzolv™ spot cleaner are not included within the offer - they are listed under "More Details" for the DC25 Animal.

Has anyone received them under this offer?

Thanks

just tried it and it's been taken down.

My order arrived today. The home cleaning kit did not arrive but very happy to receive the hoover through topcash back and with 25% off. Managed to order before the link went down and had no hassle. Thanks
