It's freezing because it's Ebay. How they can justify the fees....They normally charge paypal fees on postage anyway. They've lost 25% of revenue in the last quarter - let's hope for the same the next quarter.

almost all HUKDealers hate ebay.
Its a fact thats why ebay deals never make the front page.
#3
Hate it but cant resist using it. This is a COLD deal anyway.

25% off fvf? yet soon you won't be able to specify postage and packaging costs on dvds! yep, sellers will now have to include p&p in their listing costs.

Here? Craigslist? The now ebay-owned gumtree? Amazon market place or playtrade. For auctions think ebid. There are alternatives -but until recently EBay has had a near-monopoly in the UK. More fool us.

I use gumtree all the time. Its my fav place to buy anything.
I Purchased my £400 desk for £50 it's in a near new condition.
Sell it, Buy it, Gumtree is the way.

It's the smaller stuff - DVDs and CDs, that now seem impossible to get rid of. I listed a guns and roses spaghetti incident Cd on play for £1.20. Until I get feedback it won't sell, yet is the cheapest by £2. Gumtrees not worth it for a single CD, Ebays fees mean it would be a loss to sell it. Seems a shame, people want to buy it but suddenly there is just no way to get it to them.

oh yeah when did you start speaking for all those people who use hotukdeal HMmmmm......(your not my keeper)
i have my own opinion just like everyone else.. so keep your un-justified comment to yourself. ebay might be cr*p just because you and others dont like it (or use it ) doesnt mean everyone hates it on hotukdeal.

its interesting how this has recieved such a frosty reception, with some even suggesting the Amazon market place as an alternative (which I find to be even more expensive than ebay)
#13

You get more money on amazon and listings are FREE, comission is higher though. I only sell on amazon now.

Hot from me besides all the haters

I have voted hot, not that i sell dvd's on there, i just wanted to vote, as i buy and sell on ebay all the time and i love it, yes the fees are a bit high but it is a good way to make money and buy things rather than going to the shops, the only thing that spoils ebay is the newbies and people who only use ebay every now and then as they always mess you about and threaten to leave bad feedback, other than that EBAY IS GREAT, :-D

Did Ebay pass the VAT cut to its sellers? They pay less VAT to Govt, but collecting same or more from the poor sellers. Ebay & Paypal the worst two companies I ever used. I stopped selling on Ebay and use Amazon now. Much better.

How can they pass the VAT cut to the sellers when they are based in Luxembourg and charged 15% in the first place?
