top 10 wont change tomorrow, they changed it on friday, you can see they prepared the top 10 for that, they split the wii fit plus game and bundle up, they used to share the same chart position.

just dance is currently 24.99, so after 25% it is £18.74 so not really a good price compared to what other stores have it at.
just thought i'd let you know before you think it would be a better price.

Save your money and get a real console instead, it will pay off in the long term.

Spark - maybe these folk have kids and like doing stuff as a family rather than holed up on their own?

I've got an xbox 360 and I WILL GET A WII this year for the fact that I have a child and the Wii games look like good craic to play as a family....I also have 2DS's and while multiplayer is good a nice big TV screen would be a lot better

just sayin............

They have already reduced the white console by 25% to £134.99, Black console should be going down to the same price if this is true

Let's hope the staff discount is 15% over Easter, and if you get one of the vouchers printed off with your receipt for
£6 off.
Total cost £117 and if 15% discount total cost £110 for the black WII.
If it happens

Heat added, was going to wait till the end of April to buy one for someone's birthday but may as well get one now. Hopefully the Black console drops in price too.

Ah but that seems to be the old Wii i.e. NO Sports Resort and Motion Plus !! So not such a great deal IF that's the only one that gets reduced. :-(

To each their own I suppose, I just think there is a good reason why this console has by far the largest install base and by far the lowest usage rate.

I don't really like doing things on 'holed on my own' so to speak but I also don't have kids and I never really want them either so I guess our perspectives may be a little bit different. :)

This is the old console without the sports resort. All other retailers were selling this for much cheaper around £120

I have a PS3 and a Wii.

PS3 is used for the more serious gaming (plus all the added extras with HD movies etc) and the Wii is used more as a novelty console, but it still used non-the-less

Errrm....

This is a real console. It is simply aimed at a different demographic than other consoles.

You, sir, are a moron:p

Hmm, went into my local Sainsburys this morning and the marketing manager knew nothing about a Wii offer / promotion of any kind.

Anyone had a different experience or is this a non-existant deal?
#28
Anyone bought from instore yet???
#29

#30
Mario Bros Wii is already out of stock online, don't expect to find it in any stores by tonight.

I'm looking at getting a Wii for my 6 year olds, but need a bit of advice.

What does the black edition of the console come with controller wise ? No details on Sainsburys site.
http://www.sainsburys.co.uk/sol/shop/technology/gaming/nintendo_wii/consoles_and_bundles/119278481_wii_console_black_plus_sports_resort.html?hnav=4294960213#infobox

Also, for the 2 of them to play together will you need 2 Nunchucks? (are they needed at all) and is it worth having the Motion Plus ?

Just trying to work out what would be needed to make a complete package for them.
Any info much appreciated.

Edit: just thought of another question, with 4 player games, do the allow 2 controllers to be shared or do you tend to need a controller each? just that on the xbox we had a few 4 player games and you needed 1 contoller each....very annoying.

I just got one few days a go for mine as well...

Currently the motion Plus only work for games in the Wii Sport Resort.. so unless you are really into that, Motion plus is not really need.

Extra Nunchuk and wiimote goes for £16 on ebay... works fine as well.

The balck console comes with wii mote nunchuk and motion plus (provided its the Wii resort package)

Yes for 2 or more to play games like Mario galaxy etc the nunchuk has to be connected to the wii mote...

For multiplayers games some requires individual wiimotes like mario as said above or some requires sharing wiimote eg Golf etc.

Hope this helps.
