I think this one is credit rather than money back
If the result of your first bet is a loss, your Betfair account will be credited with the free bet up to a value of £25 / 30 within 48 hours of the bet being settled.

However a canny punter would place one bet on 888 and the opposite bet at Betfair eg South Africa to qualify for knockout stages on 888 and South Africa to not qualify for knockout stages on Betfair

However (again) I have a Betfair account and was able to withdraw money deposited into my account that was "gratis"; so it could be that you can withdraw

Quite new to this, but dont understand:

Do the bets in here qualify?

Hmmm....

To my mind, this is cold....

If you are a genuine new customer, then you might as well not use the code, deposit and bet £25 (same as this deal) and get the £40 offered on Quidco.

Wouldnt be risking the code, as you might then lose £15.
#7
My quidco never tracked and they wouldn't let me open an enquiry either
#8
If your £25 bet loses, you then get credited back £25.

Are you then able to split this up to say 5 X £5 bets in the future? Or is it a 'free' £25 bet?

Spend it how you like I would imagine.

How did you get the £25 risk free bet AND the £10 world cup bonus? They use different codes, and you can only enter one?

What does this mean?

3. Only matched bets on the Exchange or Multiples bets will qualify for this promotion.

I have made my account and credited £25, I want to place a bet in the France v Uraguay. Who is more likely to win?
#14
So if I deposit £25 to Betfair, place a bet and win I get my winnings. If I lose then I get my £25 back which I can then withdraw into my bank account?

I've emailed them as well, to see if they'll say the same thing again, as that's really not what the T&C imply. Though £40 cashback is still better than a £25 risk free bet.

Can anyone show me where to go for the form on quidco?
#17
Can I get the £40 quidco from this as well?
#18
OK I have used this offer before, I can confirm it is a credited into your account but you can then withdraw it without problems. No obligation to bet any more, it sounds too easy but really there are no catches. T & C 's are confusing but done the offer between me and my friends about 5 times now and it works.

If you plan to carry on betting then go with this deal as opposed to 888 etc as you get better odds with betfair, better CS and can even be your own bookie.

I'm confused. No one seems to be explaining what this means.

"Only matched bets on the Exchange or Multiples bets will qualify for this promotion."

Basically means that because other people can offer odds on Betfair, at the same time you can request odds.

Say England are 5/1 to win the tournament but you want 15/1. You can request these odds. If somebody then decides they will offer odds of 15/1 (unlikely unless England went in at half time 2-0 down in the 2nd round for example) then you would have a matched bet.

Basically just take the odds that are already showing in the betting box and you will have a matched bet.

Understand? Good. It's really easy once you start using Betfair.

With regards to quidco.

Is anyone able to point me in the direction as to where I would make quidco aware of my username? I am struggling to find the "Form" they are referring to
#22
Might sign up to this and put one bet on Rooney being the first scorer in tonight's game. Putting £25 on would get me £97.50 :)

Can someone explain going through quidco and this deal in easy steps as I am a ****..................

Do I go through quidco, join bet fair....invest the 25 quid and thats it........????????

Got a reply from them:

"Thank you for your e-mail.

Please note that this promotion is a ‘loss-only’ promotion. You will receive a refund of your first losing bet up to the value of £25. Please note that if your first bet is a winning bet then no payment is due.

Any payment due will be credited to your account within 24 hours of the bet being settled (i.e. when the event has finished)

You then can withdraw your £25.00 to your bank account if you so wish.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any further enquiries.

So that backs up the other email saying the same thing. Amazing that their T&C are so unclear about this. Betfair's offer is actually better than the one at 888sport, but because that one was clear, it's at 2045 degrees of heat and 75 pages of comments, whereas this ones only just got to 100 and 3 pages. Bad mistake from Betfair.
#29
so how do u get the £40 quidco + £25 back + £10 ?
#30
hmm bit confused here. Entered my code, registered, now going to deposit £25. But there is no mention about a refund if i loose my bet
#31
So if you win your not actually winning any money? Your just getting your £25? May aswell just wait til someone goes 2 - 0 and then bet on them at crap odds then?
#32
If you win, you win your bet...
#33
So doing this can you go through quidco, use the code for money back + the £10 bonus and refferal?.
[admin]#34
Lots of referrals deleted here, please do not post referrals or referral requests or send unsolicited PMs or you will face suspension.

#35
Edit:

Can you go through Quidco and still get the free £25 offer?
#36
I AM NOT POSTING A REFERAL LINK OR ASKING FOR ONE. Just a bit confused - If I bet £25 and lose I get the money back. However, If I use a referal link to join I only get the £30 bonus if I bet £30

"Join Betfair and if you wager* £30 on the Exchange during the World Cup you will receive a credit of £30 into your account! We will also make sure **** gets a £30 reward for introducing you."

So I cant use both? i.e, i cant use use a link to join and get a £30 referal bonus and a refund if I lose the bet.
My friend and I want to do this deal but dont know which is better to do,

Thanks
#37
Is being referred worth it? You get £30 credit after betting £30, but isn't it better to go through Quidco and try to get the £40 plus the £25 free bet?

I suppose you could put the £30 on something really safe and then just withdraw the £60 for a quick £30 profit. No waiting for cashback. However, looking at the T&C:

"Any bets placed on the Exchange containing selections at odds of 1.2 or less will not count towards any qualifying requirement, unless they are part of a multiples bet where the total odds are more than 1.2."

So it would need to be an accumulator of a few safe bets.

Actually, looking at the Quidco page for Betfair, they're saying that you can use the refer a friend scheme and get the £40 cashback. So that a potential £70 profit. Not bad.
#38
Quidco states you can sign up through them and use a refer and earn code as well, so hopefully you can get both offers without as RAE code. If not, you'll still get one, which means it's a risk-free bet!
#39
This quidco is a waste of time it will take ages to track or payout ...
#40
Signed up for this, we'll see if it works.
