just got a weeks flight to Porto for a 14 quid deal!!! cheers pal much appreciated!
#2
Thanks. I'm going for a long weekend in Milan for £14 return for two !

Yes it's good to mention that even if the flight are almost free, they do force you to pay either for 1 bag check in (£10) or a priority boarding (£4).
But I'm going from Liverpool to Milan for less that it would cost me to take a bus to Manchester...
#3
good work, but shame you HAVE to say how many bags you want to check in, i would just take hand luggage size bag, still £4 think i better check with the missus where she actually wants to go !

You can remove both travel insurance and priority boarding, the only charge is the credit / debit card surcharge.

Select 0 bags, a paragraph appears below this with a text link with the Remove this service and just travel with 0 bags.

Then change Confirm Country of Residence to purchase Insurance, from UK to the very top option, No Insurance Required

what time tomorrow does this end?
#11
thanks - got 2 flights to dublin (from gatwick) for a tenner, including bag for the misses :)
#12
Do note that there are booking fees involved, depending on what type of credit/debit card you use.
Switch/Maestro is 70p per person per flight.
UK Maestro is free, although I couldn't get it to work. It kept telling me there's an error, and when I changed to Switch/Maestro, everything worked fine...

only prob with Ryanair is the distance the airports they use from the actual destination. the Barcelona one (REUS) is 80km from the city!!!

just be careful to do a google search on the airport they use - just to make sure the transfer doesn't cost the Earth

Yep - second that. Looking at flights from Exeter to Barcelona and they fly into Gerona >100km away :?

Why do I keep ending up with £54 for the outwards journey?

Make sure your selection is a 'reg fare' rather than 'web fare'
#17
Yep it is a reg fare, i'm going from manchester does that make any difference? to dublin? It says i'm getting £19.98 taxes, how do I change the preferences mentioned before

Possibly down to the departure time?
#19
Well ive got it down to £20.02 for a return to dublin for two people! still very very cheap, just need to find a hotel now.....
#20
hmmm £10 each baggage charge. maybe i dont need clothes for a week?
#21
Off to Krakow again in November with my GF:thumbsup:

The baggage charges are a pain in the butt though.

Did I see correctly that Ryanair were wanting to charge around £8 for paying with a Visa credit card?

If so,the banks ought to sort this out.

I paid with my debit card which isn't the norm for me when purchasing online.

if you're getting £20 taxes it means you're on the wrong time - i had a flight that left at 11.40 on saturday and got that - the later flight worked fine

so much for global warming then , its disgusting that they are allowed to do this , slap a hefty tax on aviation fuel (tax free at the moment i believe)
I never wanted to be popular anyway.
#28
wot that bag thing all abuot then, every one takes a bag or two, why do they charge for a bag.
The only way round this is to wear all your clothes when you check-in 6 pairs of socks 6 pairs of pants 2 pairs of trousers 4 shirts and a big coat with big pocket.......LOL:w00t:
#29

It seems inevitable now. Maybe we shouldn't worry about it and let the planet become a big watery haven for fish? Unless you're saying you don't like fish. :pirate:

Shame you can't remove Govt taxes.

Bristol - Dublin two adults: fare = 4p, Govt taxes £19.98......total fare £20.02.

Taxes constitute 99.8% of the fare.

I love living in Britain................
