250 mins – 5000 texts – 500mb data on Talkmobile £7.50 / 24mths …. £0.63p per month by redemption at Mobiles.co.uk with free handset. £180.00
Just spotted some great deals on Mobiles.co.uk for a 24month contract with Talkmobile, you get 250 minutes, 5000 texts and 500mb of data for £7.50 per month (£180 for 24 months)
£7.50 pm is without any redemption or cash back, if you like redemption deals you can take that option and you get 22 months free so the cost is the equivalent to 62.5p per month (£15 for 24 months)
There is also the option of £50 automatic cash back, or there are a few £50 gift cards to choose from.
Don’t forget that Quidco pay £30 for a contract taken out with Mobiles.co.uk
Top cashback pay £30.30
I've spotted a few phones on this deal, Samsung C3050, Samsung Tocco Lite design Silver, Samsung Tocco Lite design Black, that said the Tocco's seem to show up sometimes and then not others, I couldn't get them to show up on the £7.50 deal on my computer, but my other half got them to show straight away on her computer ...strange!
I know the phones offered aren't the best in the World but I think most people will be interested in this deal for the sim and not the phone!
I know redemption deals aren’t everyones cup of Tea but I know some of you out there like them, can the people who don't please refrain from posting negative comments as this helps no one!
I think this is a great deal …if you factor in the £30 from Quidco / TCB you could come out after 24months in profit!
Cheers.
Gone Down to 62p

Forgot to mention, the deal comes with one months free insurance and one months free gadget support, you need to cancel these otherwise you will be charged for them after the 1st month !

will obviously be rubbish - but needs to be android
Yes, Samsung Galaxy Y and LG optimus L3 still available. Ordered one for my niece. Galaxy Ace and HTC wildfire S were also on this deal but now out of stock. Some of these are refurbished but still a good deal. If you get the cash back £100 by redemption and £30 TCB than the whole deal will cost you £50 including a smartphone and decent minutes and data for 24 months. HOT.
Look for Talkmobile deals/mobiles and than click on 24 month contract and than you'll see the £7.50 option otherwise it often does not show up.
sorry, a little unclear. what deal are you talking about with £100 cashback and to cost £50 in total?
A redemption deal is in effect just a cash back deal, the exception being that it is paid in instalments at certain months during the contract. To get paid the cash back you have to send in certain bills during the contract to claim it.

Just been on the site, the 63p deals for both Tocco's are still showing, I can't see the C3050 any more though.
The Mobiles.co.uk web page is a bit hit and miss, as I said in my first post sometimes the deal show, sometimes they don't, I don't know why.

Also forgot to mention in the first post, the deal comes with one months free insurance and one months free gadget support, you need to cancel these otherwise you will be charged for them after the 1st month !

i've found them now :)
any idea about the android phones mentioned at the top of the page? i can't seem to find them.
Glad you found them, that site is doing some strange things, it's never the same twice.
I don't think the android phones mentioned are available on the £7.50 per month deal.
Mobiles.co.uk have other deals available on Talkmobile some with less minutes etc.
Cheers.
...and this is mainly because I am looking at talkmobile not Mobiles .co.uk DOH :)

Hi,
Samsung galaxy Y and LG L3 are available on £7.50 contract. The deal is £1.99 for 18 months by redemption, so you get just under£100 cash back. £31.50 cash back is through TCB.
Go to the mobiles.co.uk website through TCB. On the left hand side menu click on phones by network, than choose Talkmobile. Select Samsung galaxy Y and than on left hand menu tick the 24 month box. All 24 months deals will show including the £7.50 one.
I ordered one and the cash back with TCB tracked at £31.50 in one hour. I have just checked few minutes ago and the deal is still available.
Hope this helps.
Yeah I can see the deals you mention. Top cash back (TCB) list the cash back as £30.30 so I don't know how you got £31.50.
Samsung galaxy Y or LG L3 would cost:
18 months @ £1.99 + £7.50 x 6 months = £80.82
Factor in the TCB £30.30, that gives you a total for the 24 months of £50.52 (£2.10 per month)
Excellent price for a contract with 250 minutes 5000 texts & 500mb of data with a new android phone.
Mobiles.co.uk let you send the bills for the redemption via email or you can upload the bills to them which saves messing on with recorded delivery etc.
Cheers.

it runs like any other contract - you pay for your line rental a month at a time. at certain points (6 months, 9 months, 12, 15, 18) you get hold of a PDF of your bill for that month and email it to mobiles.co.uk. they'll send you a cheque for 1/5th of the total amount you're entitled to each time.
so on the 22 months free offer the total discount amount you are owed is 22 * £7.50 = £165.
at each claim you'll get a cheque for £165/5 = £33
Yes it does work out at 62p....I rounded it up on the first post.
@ jessyj_xo,
Ferris has explained it perfectly 8)
There is also a link to the cash back details in post # 25 up this page a bit.
Cheers.
Seems rude not too as the package is more than enough for my usage and they effectively pay me 62p pm (£15 over the 24 mths after redemption + £30 Quidco)
Thanks
Pete
Just noticed it's a redemption deal :)
Seems pretty good if only for the contract
