Just spotted some great deals on Mobiles.co.uk for a 24month contract with Talkmobile, you get 250 minutes, 5000 texts and 500mb of data for £7.50 per month (£180 for 24 months)

£7.50 pm is without any redemption or cash back, if you like redemption deals you can take that option and you get 22 months free so the cost is the equivalent to 62.5p per month (£15 for 24 months)

There is also the option of £50 automatic cash back, or there are a few £50 gift cards to choose from.

Don’t forget that Quidco pay £30 for a contract taken out with Mobiles.co.uk
Top cashback pay £30.30

I've spotted a few phones on this deal, Samsung C3050, Samsung Tocco Lite design Silver, Samsung Tocco Lite design Black, that said the Tocco's seem to show up sometimes and then not others, I couldn't get them to show up on the £7.50 deal on my computer, but my other half got them to show straight away on her computer ...strange!
I know the phones offered aren't the best in the World but I think most people will be interested in this deal for the sim and not the phone!

I know redemption deals aren’t everyones cup of Tea but I know some of you out there like them, can the people who don't please refrain from posting negative comments as this helps no one!

I think this is a great deal …if you factor in the £30 from Quidco / TCB you could come out after 24months in profit!

Cheers.

Gone Down to 62p

Forgot to mention, the deal comes with one months free insurance and one months free gadget support, you need to cancel these otherwise you will be charged for them after the 1st month !

Anyone know if the data can be used on a blackberry

Any idea if the sim card will work with other phones i.e. iPhone 4?
Sim card would of course need cutting down, but would this method work? Thanks!
You can use the sim card in any phone you want, it doesn't have to be the phone that comes with the deal.

Can't see why not, as long as the phone uses the date in the sme way as a standard phone why would it matter?

Cheers.

Don't think you will get Blackberry Messenger, I would check with CS before you order.

Sorry, would have replied earlier but I didn't notice your post.

Has your number ported yet?

I had a dely with my number porting also, rang Talmobile customer services who told me that they had a problem with the system and that all of the numbers being ported had been delayed, Later that day it went over as the phone went from "Limited Service" to working.

Has anyone else suffered problems when porting?

Cheers.
#69
yep, my number still hasn't ported
#70
When should it have went over?

What network operator are you porting from?

Cheers.

Looked their 0870 customer services number up on Say No To 0870 and it gave me 0800 0494401, I used this number when I rang them, they put you through to customer services no problem.

I'm really sorry you've been having with your ported number I have spoken to Talk Mobile and they have confirmed that the PAC code has not gone through and Talk Mobile cannot port this number now it is after the point of sale. They have confirmed your PAC code is still active.
Please accept our apologies, the only way to port your number is to return and replace the order.
In order to arrange this please call our customer advisors on 0871 220 358

I had the same problem previously and then massive probs getting cancelled and stopping them billing me. Swore I would never use them again but at this price and the fact its my wife's phone and its no biggy if the port doesn't go through I gave them another chance.

If I were you I would be dealing with Talkmobile customer services direct, not going through Mobiles.co.uk.

Did you get notifcation from Talkmobile that your number would port over on a certain date?

Are you porting your number from the Vodaphone network?

Cheers.
#76
just to clarify, the service from mobiles.co.uk was excellent. It was talkmobile that were useless

Ordered the Samsung Galaxy Y and had an email today stating different e2save cashback address and recorded delivery was recommended.

i.e. http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.php?t=2741394&page=24

Anyone else had this and are you planning to still submit cashback claims using the mobiles.co.uk website if so? There is a different postal address listed there. However I understand they are all part of the CPW group?

Yes I'm on Vodaphone
I called CPW and they said the PAC code had come through but something had gone wrong
I've ordered again and will have to send this one back - pain in the backside but no biggy (as long as everything assosiated gets cancelled and refunded)

I think the problem is porting a number from Vodafone to Talkmobile as basically it's the same network, I have a suspicion that because it's the same network the porting process may be a bit more complicated and they arn't used to it!

Cheers.

Wait until you have all of the info through from them and log into you account on Mobiles.co.uk site to get the address to email or post the bills to.

Don't forget to cancel the Insurance / Gadget help within 14 days so you don't get charged for them.

Cheers.
