250 mins – 5000 texts – 500mb data on Talkmobile £7.50 / 24mths …. £0.63p per month by redemption at Mobiles.co.uk with free handset. £180.00
Just spotted some great deals on Mobiles.co.uk for a 24month contract with Talkmobile, you get 250 minutes, 5000 texts and 500mb of data for £7.50 per month (£180 for 24 months)
£7.50 pm is without any redemption or cash back, if you like redemption deals you can take that option and you get 22 months free so the cost is the equivalent to 62.5p per month (£15 for 24 months)
There is also the option of £50 automatic cash back, or there are a few £50 gift cards to choose from.
Don’t forget that Quidco pay £30 for a contract taken out with Mobiles.co.uk
Top cashback pay £30.30
I've spotted a few phones on this deal, Samsung C3050, Samsung Tocco Lite design Silver, Samsung Tocco Lite design Black, that said the Tocco's seem to show up sometimes and then not others, I couldn't get them to show up on the £7.50 deal on my computer, but my other half got them to show straight away on her computer ...strange!
I know the phones offered aren't the best in the World but I think most people will be interested in this deal for the sim and not the phone!
I know redemption deals aren’t everyones cup of Tea but I know some of you out there like them, can the people who don't please refrain from posting negative comments as this helps no one!
I think this is a great deal …if you factor in the £30 from Quidco / TCB you could come out after 24months in profit!
Cheers.
Gone Down to 62p

Forgot to mention, the deal comes with one months free insurance and one months free gadget support, you need to cancel these otherwise you will be charged for them after the 1st month !

Jump to unread Post a CommentI'm really sorry you've been having with your ported number I have spoken to Talk Mobile and they have confirmed that the PAC code has not gone through and Talk Mobile cannot port this number now it is after the point of sale. They have confirmed your PAC code is still active.
Please accept our apologies, the only way to port your number is to return and replace the order.
In order to arrange this please call our customer advisors on 0871 220 358
If I were you I would be dealing with Talkmobile customer services direct, not going through Mobiles.co.uk.
Did you get notifcation from Talkmobile that your number would port over on a certain date?
Are you porting your number from the Vodaphone network?
Cheers.

Anyone else had this and are you planning to still submit cashback claims using the mobiles.co.uk website if so? There is a different postal address listed there. However I understand they are all part of the CPW group?

Yes I'm on Vodaphone
I called CPW and they said the PAC code had come through but something had gone wrong
I've ordered again and will have to send this one back - pain in the backside but no biggy (as long as everything assosiated gets cancelled and refunded)

I think the problem is porting a number from Vodafone to Talkmobile as basically it's the same network, I have a suspicion that because it's the same network the porting process may be a bit more complicated and they arn't used to it!
Cheers.

Wait until you have all of the info through from them and log into you account on Mobiles.co.uk site to get the address to email or post the bills to.
Don't forget to cancel the Insurance / Gadget help within 14 days so you don't get charged for them.

good luck. that's what happened to me with an experia before xmas. I cancelled but couldn't reorder because the system needed me to wait 24 hours before placing another order - some security system. But then they had gone out of stock. Took me 2-3 months to stop them taking monthly repayments and to refund them!

don't think voda is the problem. They must port hundreds of them. Mine was t-mob and failed. I think their system is shaky and/or staff incompetent and suffers a large proportion of porting problems and unfortunately with them you only get one go at the point of sale!
You're probably right.
My Vodafone number didn't port on the day it should have, The process must have started as my Voda sim went off, but the next day the TM sim still wasn't active, I called TM to be told they were suffering porting problems due to a system fault and they had a backlog, they told me my line should be on by 4pm....come 4pm no change so I called again, this time it would be on by 8pm, at this point I asked to talk to a manager, they told me it should be sorted within the next 48 hrs!.... this is when I got annoyed and told them that if the line wasn't active within 2 hours I would be reporting the incident to ofcom as there are regulations regarding number porting, they apologised for the delay but said they couldn't do anything to speed up the process, however 15 minutes later the line was active....coincidence or what!
I wonder if TM are a bit swamped at the moment due to the deals they are offering.
Cheers.

something wrong. looks like problem with credit check. mine was like this for a couple of hours and then all completed.
Advised me to contact mobiles.co.uk
Anyone had any success doing this? Is it a hassle? Invalidates any quidco cashback?
No they are not network locked, they're sim free phones.
Cheers.
how easy is the cash back
I've now got a third order in - hope this goes through
Thanks for any help!
