256Mb! Wonder how long they've been kicking around?

Any idea if these come with an adaptor to fit a normal MMC/SD slot?

i got a 4gb pro duo for 2 pound more than this. not a good deal sorry

mmc is suitable for older cameras which dont neccesarily sd, generally when there was the sd vs mmc war around 2000

hot, but for niche market.

vote for the deal, if you have an mmc only device this is good deal

apples vs oranges comparison for multiple reasons

1) pro duo is a different generation device which have achieved low price since economies of scale are still being acheived in production as it is a current technology.
2) some old devices are mmc only, can you stick your pro duo card in an mmc only device? no.

no but for that price i would be expecting a better deal on size value

i am not comparing the cards im merely stating i got 4gb for not much more.

considering pro duo is more expensive that mmc or micro sd i do believe that there is no value in this offer

Thank you deanos, nailed in one the reason for the post

If anyone can find a CHEAPER card to use with their Digital Photo Frame, then please post here.

I know it's a small memory card, but as mentioned it does fit 400 odd photos, so ideal to add to to the excellent £7.99 Comet Digi Phot Frame bargain from before Xmas, and have a fully functioning photo frame for £9.55. :-D

Another plus is that it doesn't stick out from the side of the photo frame like a USB stick does. ;-)

Agreed - managed to fit 180 photos on an old 32Mb mini-SD card (with adapter) from an obsoleted phone with space to spare once photos downsized to the photoframe resolution. So 256MB should be more than enough space for most.
