I've just been down to Sainsburys and got myself one of these TVs, and seems to be a pretty good bargain, especially if you are able to get staff discount, which at the moment is 15%!

A bit about the TV (though from memory):

26" LCD
1 HDMI Port
Integrated Freeview
USB Slot (for viewing JPEGs and playing MP3s)
800:1 Contrast Ratio
PC VGA Input
Able to be wall mounted
Black in colour with a silver strip

If anyone requires any more information, I will do my best to let you know. A picture will follow shortly for those interested. Just thought I would get the deal up so that people who want one could get down to Sainsburys to have a look!

Been looking for a TV this size and i work @ sainsburys will pick 1 up me thinks :D voted hot! thanks
#3
I'm surprised this has been voted cold. Thought I had got myself a bit of a bargain!!
#4
well perhaps if we could all get the 15% discount then we would vote hot but at £249.99 its nothing special when you can but a 32 inch hd tv for £299 these days
#5
Why is this cold?? There was an LG 22" for £230 that was HOT! This is bigger for a bit more.
#6
I thought even £250 would be one of the cheapest around. Next cheapest I can find is another Technosonic TV but with no Freeview and no USB for £270 from tesco.

I know you can get a 32" for typically £50 more than ANY 26", but when you want a 26", it's a good deal.

OOh. USB. Anyone know if you can play movies off this via usb hdd.

LG vs Technosonic is like comparing a BMW to a FIAT.

I have a technosonic tv in a bedroom. truly awful.

Can't play movies off it unfortunately. :(

A pic of the back would be great, never made the time to actually take a proper look at it even though i work there on a saturday! Must admit the picture quality is pretty good too (probably even better if they did more than just switch it on!), still deciding between this and the bush @ £300. Will get the 15% discount aswell which is nice :)
#13
To be honest, the bush is HORRIBLE looking, and this is £50 cheaper. No contest in my mind. Although bush has been known longer, it's still a **** make, just like Technosonic (compared to other high-cost brands). I've got a TWF in the living room and a Technosonic in the bedroom (both the same make), and they're both good picture quality. I wouldnt say as good as LG/Samsung/Etc, but then you get what you pay for.

I'll try to get a pic of the back of it before it goes on the wall! :)
