Thanks, I love king prawns and they're usually expensive so I'll be getting a couple of these for the freeze
#3
Really good price, is the weight 'net' or does that include any water/ice content?
#4
Hot price.

I thought the price was really good too! The bags say the 275g is (Excluding Ice/Glace) so I assume it's nett!

No. They keep the nets so they can fish for more

I think this is really unnessary - you should be rating the deal (i.e is it good value) not whether yo like the product or not, this isnt an opinion poll its a website to help you find good deals

Nice, nice.
Though king prawns in this country are rarely king size and taste kinda bland. :o
Non the less, a good deal.

Because most of them are intensively farmed, not coming close to the wild ones. That's how deals like this one can offer them so cheap

I buy frozen raw prawns from a specialist chinese shop. I have tried them from all the supermarkets and costco etc but cannot beat them from the chinese shop. I love to make salt and pepper prawns!

Jumbo King Prawns - 340 grams are also half price at Iceland.

£4 down to £2.

Bought two last week.

I saw the posted deal in Iceland and was put off that they still have the shell and legs still attached. At least I think they did.

what a ridiculous reason to vote cold! It's the deal you should be voting on not a personal preference.

Voted hot - bargain!

Am I the only person that thought the guy who said he was voting cold because he didn't like them said it with tongue firmly in cheek!?!

Guess a few of you fell for it though!

Im going for HOT,i love prawns

Anyone tried tinned Octopus in tomato sauce? They sell 'em in Aldi and Lidl. I haven't but they look disgusting.

I like prawns in curries, stir-fries, sandwiches and as a cocktail.

Sarcasm - I remember my ex-gf's Mum saying to me once that she hated people who fart. Obviously my gf had been talking behind my back. LOL.. according to Scientists, the average human farts 14 times a day BUT of course my ex's Mum never farted at all - what a miracle - I wonder if she is celebrating Easter or if she can walk on water.

Everything is used in processed foods.

These are real Prawns, not processed.

so you recon that iceland have reduced these because people are too dense to know the difference between raw & cooked prawns?

nope i just find it hard to believe that there are people out there who have been buying and eating prawns in the past still do not know the difference between cooked and raw product. :?
How would some of you survive without the instructions written on the side of the packet ;-)

90% of people would reject a wild prawn versus a (pre-cooked 'pink one') thus the food industry presents them as such
