Good deal but the reviews and rating from on TripAdvisor from people who have stayed there are not very positive.

It seems to have gone down hill over the past few months according to the site, but at least the management have bothered to reply to the negative comments, which is something you dont find ofter on trip advisor,

May be due to the fact that they have been taken over and developed and should be operational by Summer 2009 according to this site:

http://www.ttgmena.com/Articles/tabid/57/articleType/ArticleView/articleId/305/Upmarket-hotel-chain-created.aspx

Dont know if i would take the risk no matter how cheap, we have all seen the "just opened" hotel nightmare stories

Was reallyyyy tempted but after reading the reviews........................
#7
Useless: out of school holidays!
#8
Looks like all those reviews are from last year, and the hotel was taken over in Winter 2008 - likely they've had a revamp of service & renovations since then, so I'd be willing to risk it.

But DUE to be operational by Summer 2009, is it worth the risk

this looks like a nice little week away to me and on the thomsons site it shows a great pic of a sea view room
does anyone know the flight times ? and if its poss to get this deal from Stansted Airport?
am tempted even though wouldn't usually go for an all inclusive stuck at the hotel deal but that beach looks nice ..........
#15
Given the Trip Advisor reviews I doubt this is no more than a average deal. You're very much getting what you're paying for here.

booked thanks
paid a bit more for better flight times - and also there is a £10 booking fee - still a great deal though and can't wait to go now!

happy holidays!

Cheers OP, but just tried to book and they are saying the prices for the flights have shot up. They use easyjet, the usual thing, the more flights they sell the higher the remaining seats. Gutted. But oh well.

Also, as it's easyjet, you have to pay 15 each for baggage up to 20 kg, unless you can survive on hand luggage. Plus the 10 each admin charge. Plus the 2% credit card charge. Plus the flights don't get in until approx 9.45pm so that's the first day of your holiday lost, although you can pay a further 20 each for better times (departing gatwick at 5.55am!!)

Shame.......but I'm sure there will be more great holiday deals on here at some point :-D

I just booked and paid £20 more than this listing. You don't have to pay for extra baggage as thats included at 20kgs, my flight from Manchester gets in at 19.35hrs, and departs again at 20.15.

Good find (although I've since found that by booking it individually you can get it cheaper), voted hot :-D

That won't stop the type of person who takes their child out of school during term time from being there.
#24
My flight from Gatwick didn't include luggage, obviously a different operator from Manchester. How do you book it direct? I was looking for a way to book the hotel as I could get cheap flights with my easyjet credit card :-)
#25
Ok, so called again. Depending on who you get you get a different price!! This time they've 'thrown in' luggage as I hummed and hahhed and we have early flights going out so we don't lose a day. Still a lot more than 279 though, altogether with admin charges and credit card charges it's coming in at 345 each. Which I guess is still pretty good for what it is.

Just waiting for them to call back to confirm it's all booked at that price..................................
#26
Booked - voted hot!
#27
Anyone know how paying for this works? I thought I'd pay all in one, but I've just checked my CC online and they've only taken just under half so far?
#28
I was told it comes out in 2 separate amounts, as one amount is for hotel, other is for flights. Depends when each company takes the payment.

Has anyone found a cheap company for car hire whilst here?
#34
I haven't looked, but gocompare.com is a good website which pulls all the main car hire companies prices and gives you a chance to get a vague idea of where's cheapest. I want to go to the waterpark 'Aqualand' I think it's called, it looks awesome and isn't far from the hotel. Also have you checked tripadvisor lately, someone has given it a 5 star review since all the refurbs have been carried out at the hotel, can hardly wait - yay!
