seems a good price for 2 blu rays.

In director Danny Boyle's ground breaking take on zombie horror, 28 Days Later, a deadly 'rage' virus transforms the world into a seemingly desolate wasteland. A handful of determined survivors attempt to salvage a future- unaware that the worst is yet to come...
In the heart-stopping sequel, 28 weeks later, the U.S. army steps in to help repatriate Mainland Britain after the rage virus has finally been eliminated. But one of the returning refugees carries a terrible secret that threatens to reignite the deadly explosion of bloodlust, carnage and chaos.

Heard that 28 days looks terrible on bluray and you are better off with dvds but in saying that seems good value for 2 films

its not that 28 days has a bad transfer but it was shot on dv camera and so blu ray can't really improve it but it is as the director intended so can't argue with that - and the sound is hd also and improved. 28 weeks is supposed to look and sound great though.

True, but this isn't because of a bad transfer. The film was shot using a dvr camera, as Danny Boyle felt it would add a grittiness to the film. Apparently the transfer is actually really good, as it's the picture Boyle was trying to show, but the vast majority of the movie is indeed clearly not Hi Def. 28 Weeks later though has a very crisp picture. Shame that 28 weeks is the weaker film, but with better picture quality :(

I'd say worth it at this price.
Yes 28 days doesnt really need to be on blu ray, having said that its better than the dvd version. Have this boxset already and its fab, 2 great films. heat added.
The 28 Days Later upgrade may not be worth it for the video.. but it is for the sound!

Got this with Nightwatch / Daywatch on Blu-ray a few years back for about £20. Good price!
shame 28 weeks was pretty crap

Thanks Entilzha.
As I already have these on DVD and the Blu is not much of an improvement picture wise (and I don't have decent audio equipment) I'm not going for this - despite 28 days later being a favourite of mine.

I have, however, used that code to get the two Fantastic Four films for a few pence over seven quid. Not the best of films, but they're okay and the kids love them - and I hear they both look great on Blu-Ray.

28 days is a brilliant film! whatever the quality, one if not my favourite! Best zombies ever!! 28 weeks however has got to be one of the worst films ever! It sups cock soup! a great great disapointment :.( and i expectected so much! but I suppose the price is good for the 28 days, I think? dont have a blueray so not really sure about prices? But the one film alone is worth getting even at a lot higher price, plus you have the added bonus of being able use 28 weeks disc as a coaster or to scare of birds from ya veg patch or a better still throw at potential zombies! Like off shaun of the dead but not vinyl, so hot I suppose.
28 Days Later isn't much of an improvement over DVD but that's not due to a lazy conversion but rather the source material as it was shot on a Canon XL1 which is a capable camera but used DV tapes which have their limitations.
now back upto £9.85
