Thanks.
Just bought a PS3 and starting the rather expensive process of updating my collection to Blu-Ray.

Have some H&R.

My waiting-to-be-watched blu ray pile is catching up with the dvd pile... waited a while to get 28 Weeks though so this is a hot enough excuse for me!

28 Days Later is a poor transfer apparently, check out the review here:

"Utterly disappointing" is the only phrase that comes to mind at the moment. This Blu-ray edition of '28 Days Later' arrives with a hazy 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 transfer that's only a meager step up from the already-problematic DVD. In fact, I found the finalized image incredibly similar to the upscaled DVD presentation.

Probably not worth it if you already own the DVD, but may be a decent purchase if you don't and wanted these films anyway. Incidentally, 28 Weeks Later supposedly is better on Blu-Ray.

Hardly surprising as it was recorded on an SD handycam from what I understand... Upscaled DVD probably looks identical.

Still cheap mind
