28 Days Later:In this film from director Danny Boyle and writer Alex Garland, a powerful virus is unleashed on the British public following a raid on a primate research facility by animal rights activists. Transmitted in a drop of blood and devastating within seconds, the virus locks those infected into a permanent state of murderous rage. Within 28 days the country is overwhelmed and a handful of survivors begin their attempts to salvage a future, little realising that the deadly virus is not the only thing that threatens them...

28 Weeks Later:Six months after the rage virus has annihilated the British Isles, the US Army declares that the war against infection has been won, and that the reconstruction of the country can begin. In the first wave of returning refugees, a family is reunited - but one of them unwittingly carries a terrible secret. The virus is not yet dead, and this time, it is more dangerous than ever.

A word of advice, 28 Days later was shot on a hand held standard definition camcorder so absolutely pointless owning it on Blu-Ray...I learned the hard way :)

Blu-ray isn't just about the image.

I bought the DVD doublepack last week for £3, decided against the BR version

Pic quality on this is SHOCKING! If you can get the double pack on DVD cheap get it, like above, I learned the hard way.

Great price, though, picture quality and sound aren't really that good, not one to showcase - though the films are good!

While as said above 28 days was shot on a SD camera. The picture is still better than the DVD counterpart. But the soundtrack is where the Blu Ray shines. Heat added. Quality Boxset.

28 Days Later......good idea, pity about the rubbish cast and the **** script!!! That bearded bawbag shouting "Hello" for about 30 minutes at the start of the film, wtf was that all about!?!?! Where did they find that clown??? No wonder I've never seen him in any film since! Rant over!

Hes also in the dark knight and inception...i think the start is an ode to dawn of the dead, cant remember though.

His name say's it all...think the title "bawbag" is very appropriate!
