Been looking for a good deal on this and this has to be the best around, use the code HMV015 to get 15% discount down to £15.29 and if the 8% quidco works too that'll bring the price down to £14.07 delivered! Next best price is around £17.83 on The Hut.

28 Weeks Later, the follow up to the hugely successful 28 Days Later, picks up six months after the rage virus has annihilated the Mainland Britain. The US army declares that the war against infection has been won, and that the reconstruction of the country can begin. As the first wave of refugees return, a family is reunited - but one of them unwittingly carries a terrible secret. The virus is not yet dead, and this time, it is more dangerous than ever.

"A surprisingly good follow up to Danny Boyle's 2002 "zombie" movie, "28 Weeks Later" shows us the next stage of the story as US troops help expatriate Brits to recolonise the now deserted London. The Rage virus, their scientists assure us, is dead and gone with the last of the infected. But a virus is very difficult to kill...

New director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo wisely keeps the kinetic, handheld camera style of Boyle's original movie, kicking off with a breathtaking high energy zombie chase during the original outbreak. Then it's off to Canary Wharf, where the US Army is quartering the 50,000 strong population of Britain. Of course, it's not long before the discovery of a survivor in the deserted London suburbs starts a new outbreak and the horror is on!

After a slow build up, Fresnadillo makes impressive use of a deserted London as our heroes race to escape not just the infected but the pursuing US military. Making good use of locations such as the new Wembley Stadium, he gives us some great set pieces including a nail biting chase through Moorgate tube station and an inventive combination of a horde of infected with a helicopter.

A strong cast is led by Robert Carlyle as Don, a survivor bearing the guilt of having left his wife to die. Jeremy Renner gives good support as US sniper Doyle, while "Lost"'s Harold Perrineau is chopper pilot Flynn.

A worthy successor to a classic zombie film, "28 Weeks Later" is packed with thrills, tension, and lots more gore!"

Quality film if you've not seen it, highly recommended, especially in full HD!

how is this a good deal? what idiot pays this sort of money for the same film but slightly sharper. there's also a 50% chance that your chosen HD format will do a betamax.

I read somewhere that BR is outselling HDDVD 2:1 at the moment. I suspect that we will be with both formats for a few years yet, but BR will win through in the end IMHO...

Mines validated but not given a total yet, I ordered yesterday and the quidco still stated 8%, will probably come out at 2% but that still brings the total cost down to £14.99 delivered.
