Would'nt touch this with a bargepole, save your money and go stay in a Premier Inn. Take a look here for reviews http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Hotel_Review-g504200-d249024-Reviews-Bosworth_Hall_Hotel-Market_Bosworth_Leicestershire_England.html

not great but them some complaints from dunces

"We arrived having paid extra for an executive room (why not) to find a large but very average room, oh well was our initial thought. Off to the Spa to book a massage to find it fully booked until the afternoon of our departure day, Not impressed also to find Jaccusi was out of order. Our deal included dinner so we booked a table for 8.30pm and went out sigtseeing."

how thick can you get....you book a hotel with a spa and leave it to the day to book the spa to find its booked.....is that the hotel's fault, no!

some people are so thick

Number to call is unavailable.

Not sure if it would be that cheap once you have factored in travel costs.

This sounds pretty similar to the Selsodon Park offer i did a few years ago for £50 which inc golf, D,Band B
Hotel was opld and tired and service was very sloppy and reflected the amount you paid at the end of teh day and hotel gets similar reviews.
Tripadvisor is useful to get an overview but it isn;t definitive. however a hotel with
300+ reviews at that sort of level of rating obviously does have some general recurring issues I would say

Go with an open mind expecting average everything and you may be surprised. You are not going to get top end Spa treatments or dinner or rooms at this price

Probably OK for stag parties & the like, otherwise avoid as it will be very poor standards and shocking service.

Stayed here a few years ago and the rooms they put you in if you were on a deal were different to the normal rooms i.e. pretty basic. Unless things have changed since then I wouldn't touch it.....

Isn't this really in Leicestershire, not to be a pedant.

Market Bosworths postal address is in Warwickshire yet we are under leicestershire council. I live by this hotel and it is a bit dated as are the facilities but bosworth is a nice place to visit and the price is cheap x

Well I never knew that - I stand corrected thankyou :-)

Have you stayed there recently yourself or is that a guess?

Looks like all the wkend (Fri&Sat) dates are gone.

Shame only done the road, basically getting the room for free.

£7.50 brekkie, £20 evening meal plus drinks for an hour bargain!!

I have stayed at this place 3 or 4 times through lastminute.com and it has always been excellent value for money. In my opinion its only people who have a bad experience who are more likely to leave reviews so it can be a bit skewed.
Lovely local walks as well

I know this hotel quite well. 10-15 years ago it used to be a really good prestigeous hotel. Unfortunately it has been left to 'go to seed' and I suspect is now losing money hand over fist. The infrastructure is crumbling through lack of maintenance and I guess that they are not making enough money to employ enough staff to give good service. There are much better places to stay for not a lot more money.
Market Bosworth (which has always been in Leicestershire) is not a bad place to stay and you are not too far from places like Mallory Park, the National Forest, Calke Abbey etc. But, honestly, avoid this hotel.
