We all had the same kind of childhood lol..... although my gran was a right cow and only gave me water when there was alpine bottles of juice in the cupboard. They were kept for her favourite grandkids. Ahhhh I remember the plain buttered rolls and water like it was yesterday. Maybe our childhoods werent really the same after all :(

Well, my Grandma also had her favourites too and it certainly wasn't me. I was last on the list - the only boy, my sister was second last, my Aunty L's kids were 4th & 3rd, and my Aunty D's kids were 2nd & 1st. Caroline was her clear and obvious favourite & she even proclaimed that fact one year at a gathering of the whole family without any remorse or regret!

She told my mun 'you couldnt pay me to love your kids' and that was the end of me spending time round there. Thank God, I got blamed for everything that went wrong anyway. Horrible horrible person she was. Well lets enjoy our cheap Tizer with the people we care about this Xmas and forget the ones who have done us wrong. Merry Xmas tae ane an awe :)

Reminds me of my childhood but I used to like the stuff back then, maybe my tastebuds have changed but it tastes rank these days.

Taken all of the good e numbers and flavourings & colourings out it now and it doesn't taste anywhere near the same.
#21
I agree with many others here- it tastes *nothing* like it used to.

If you have never bought it before, try it- you may like it.
If like me, you are trying it after 25 years, you will be thoroughly disappointed- maybe even a little upset.
