Exactly, will easily fit into the boot of your car. Also saves getting them off the roof bars, which used to do my head in :p

Thought it might have included today though? Still, it's an impuse buy so not that bothered. Besides, it may come sooner I suppose.

GREAT SAVING on a carry case here.http://www.ladders-online.com/xtend-climb-pro-carry-case

Don't Miss Out!!!

Back to the deal.
Wouldn't waste my time on a 6ft ladder. you can do almost as much standing on a chair.

Real ladder here for not much more considering. http://www.internetshopuk.com/internetshopuk/asp/display_product.asp?image=telescopicladder&title=Telescopic+Ladder+3%2E8m+Aluminium&description=Packed+at+just+81cm+this+telescopic+ladder+stretches+out+to+an+impressive+3%2E8m+meters%2E&price=89%2E99

Actually the 2metre is £29.16 + Shipping. :-)

You can get the 2.6m for only £36.50 + Shipping.

Nice find, been after one of these for ages.
Lot easier to get out of the shed and into the loft.
#19
Do these have quick release or do you manually have to click each step when folding down ?

Yes they do. I bought one a while back. Excellent value for the money.
I am a surveyor so it gets a lot of use.

YAY - just got mine delivered (supersaver took only two days).
Instructions are in broken english, (even says the ladder is beautiful).
Figured out that you need to raise ladder from bottom rather than top, or rungs do not lock, so surplus rungs are at the top.
Its a greasy/oily bit of kit. Thanks to the OP :-D

2.6 is now out of stock but 122, 2 metre models left.

Great find, I've wanted one of these for ages but have always been put off by the price. But if I were you steevieboy4u I'd wait till I'd stopped shaking before using it.:whistling:

I bought one of these last time they were on offer at Ebuyer.... when it arrived & I had a bit closer look, I thought to myself...."Do I really want to be 2 metres up off the ground, with my life hanging in the balance by something designed by an underpaid tiddley wink designer/manafacturer". The instructions underlined this....terrible engrish.

It went on Ebay...the guy who bought it from me, emailed me to say "I see why you sold them ....they're sh**...they're going straight back up on Ebay!" (as far as I know, they may simply going from person to person & Ebay are coining it in skimming transaction costs each time.)

Trust me...when your life is at stake, don't put it in the hands of cheap engineering.

There are some original ones on QVC but at a price........

Absolutely agree, you can only go halfway up the ladder safely as you need to hold on to the top, as a keen DIYer I can't think of any use I could put these to.

These things are brilliant, my mate's got one (paid 70-odd quid). Now I can afford one.

I have to agree. I'm an energy surveyor, I do 3-5 surveys a day and have to look up in lofts. I have two sets of folding ladders, one pair that cost about £140 ( of course as I'm on here you already know that was a bargain, the RRP was over £200) and a pair that look very much like these, as a backup.

So the good pair get used most of the time, and always work as they should. The cheap set however, get much less use and I look very carefully each time I extend them as I don't feel safe. Recently I extended them and started climbing only to feel them 'settle' on one side! There and the I decided to buy another decent pair, 'Extend and Climb' 3.8m is my choice.
After all, who wants to find out how cr*p they are when several meters off the ground?

Do you think this would do as a loft ladder? I have no space to fit a traditional Ramsay type, and having bought a concertina one, on fitting it it didnt work either:oops: (expensive mistake)

Ive been using a standard extending / step ladder, but its a pain to store in the house, this looks much more compact, (though it would probably need to be the 2.6 one I got)

Advise from anyone whose seen one of these in action would be great please:thumbsup:

Thanks.

As already stated, 2.6m is no longer on their website. There were 25 of them when this deal was first posted, but none left now. Still over 100 of the 2m ladders left, but fairly useless, as the theme on here would suggest.

i got one of the 2.6m ones arrived today but damaged, and none left in stock anyone know of anymore of these of say same quality and size for about same price,it annoys me i get myself a deal, something i wanted and its come damaged, now to wait for a refund and hope another cheap one pops up somewhere.
