2p off Fuel - pay no more than 136.7p for Petrol/ 141.7p for Diesel @ Asda

nicster08nicster08

From (Friday 4th May) you will pay no more than 136.7p per litre for unleaded and 141.7p per litre for diesel at Asda.

We’re leading the way in passing on the savings from a drop in global oil prices. It’s our second price drop on fuel in three weeks and should be good news for hard-pressed motorists throughout the UK.

Unlike other retailers we do everything we can to reduce prices for all of our customers wherever you live.

Research taken from PetrolPrices.com shows that some retailers are getting away with charging up to 147.9p per litre for unleaded and 151.9p per litre for diesel in towns without an Asda nearby.

    ARE YOU PEOPLE INSANE???

If I filled my car from empty (48ltrs) with this deal, I'd save... wait for it...

    DRUM ROLL

    TRUMPETS

The almighty sum of .... £1.54

You people are bonkers. Even a penniless tramp wouldn't leave his cardboard box for that.

Sweet was just about to fill up as well will wait till tomorrow now and foil the cars and the van cheers op

Wow! Nice tip. Does it work?
Wrapping the car and van in foil uses less petrol?

wtf why would wrapping the car in foil use less petrol?

Wrapping it in foil reflects mind control rays, cling film reduces petrol consumption ... this is pretty basic physics come on people

Because foil protects you from the magnetising effect road which has become polarised from all the cars passing over it at high speed.

Try learning something before throwing your cling film wisdom around.

Cling film would increase the humidity inside the car therefore making it HEAVIER and increasing the fuel consumption which would offset any benefit.

Someone I was talking to on holiday worked with fuels said it is all down to additives, the supermarket fuel has the lower quality ones which does impact performance.

Personally I am inclined to agree as on the rare occasion I use shell it seems to run smoother, but hard to resist the 3p saving per litre even if it does only work out at £1.50 per tank :)

I find that expensive fuel has quite a significant placebo effect on how well my car drives.

Shame my nearest ASDA is 40 miles away. Cost what I would save in fuel alone...

    HOT anyway.

hot deal but funny isnt it. worries about tanker strikes, prices rocket then they changed their mind but petrol prices stayed high.

A month later talk of strikes again. anyone guess whats coming next?
