Scan - Today only - 2.0TB Buffalo Justore gives me a price of £74.03 Inc VAT
It is listed on the today only deals at the 65.99, but the item's page shows the higher price, am i missing something?
Put in basket, still registers as £74.03.

Odd, tho hardly surprising

We have teamed up with SCAN computers to create the SCAN & AVForums loyalty programme. All AVForums members with 30 or more posts are eligible for free delivery on all orders worth £50+VAT from SCAN.

For the full terms and conditions and the link to SCAN which activates your free delivery status, go to this page.
http://www.avforums.com/forums/scan_offer.php

I would have thought you would have made over 30 comments in 4 years, so you ought to be eligible?

maid020279 post was quicker and seemingly more up to date and accurate. Ignore mine!

to be honest, scan need to sort their system out - it seems many people are struggling to get this deal.

it's all well and good members saying "looky looky, i got it" without explaining how..............

It does work but as stated on the today only deals page scroll all the way down to external hard drives 1-2TB section and click buy from here (DONOT click into description then click Buy as it will go in at full price)

Also the £65.99 is not incl postage final buy price £74.58 (AV froum members of 14 days and more only get free delivery)

Not a bad deal with free P & P but for £75 I am waiting as I can buy a wester Digital off amazon at this £75 price

Good spot never the less if only I was a member for more than 14 days I have reg before but can not remember my login details dammmm

Don't see why people are struggling with this - it's quite straight forward. Go to scan.co.uk. On the homepage is a section called 'Scan's great offer pages' (basically the top right box under the graphics card ad, next to 'Why customers love Scan'). Click on the 'Today Only' link and it takes you to a page of offers. Scroll down to find the hard drive (fair enough, it's quite a long way down, under External Storage, but you can just press CTRL-F and search for Buffalo to get there quicker), and it's there for £65.99. Add it straight to your basket from that page because the product page has the usual price on. Piece of cake. Free delivery is likewise easy - once you're registered on AVForums and have fulfilled whatever the criteria are these days you only have to register for free delivery on Scan once and it's permanently applied to your account.

I've bought two hard drives from the Today Only offers on Scan this week. I've love to get this but I'm sorted for external storage for now, and I think my next purchase will have to be something with eSATA and/or Firewire.

For those of you who can't work out how to get it - count yourselves lucky. Browsing the Today Only section on Scan is dangerous to your wallet.

Can anyone confirm this runs and shuts down automatically when not used? I'm used to very quiet My Books so wondered if this was much the same?

HA!
I found out why people were having so much a problem with the free delivery bit: - because it was BUSTED!. After going around in (hyperlink) circles for ages trying to find out the secret entrance to free delivery I found out the connection from the Scan loyalty page on the AVforum was broken! It appears to have been broken all weekend (from the threads I've read). It was back up and working this afternoon, so if you've registered, and you qualify, use CHUCK U's link to the loyalty page on Avforum.

reddragon105's assessment of this site is spot on. . . and with paypal it's all too easy!
