i not voting cold or hot but maybe you can buy 2x 1tb seagate expansion drives ones for less than £120 at tesco

its a good price though, i'll vote it hot
I personally will rather lose 1 tb of data than 2tb of data if the drive fails. but thats just me.

a valid point, but I'd imagine 2 or so years ago when 1tb drives first came about, people probably said they'd rather have 2 x 500gb for the same reason ;-)
