2TB - who needs 2TB? The Pentagon maybe but not Joe (or Joan) Public - this is way over the top. Gonna get one though.

and me!

does anyone know if these are reliable? I heard some of the 2TB external drives (the cheaper ones) aren't very good - I was reading that on a recent 2TB deal that was posted. Can't remember what model/make that was.

for a such a drive would expect usb 2.0 to be pretty slow considering it would be aimed at users with large files.

should typically have eSata at this size...

This is a good price for 2TB - can't vouch for the reliability. If I had £85 spare at this moment I would buy one and take the chance though. I have 3TB full right now :(

Excellent HDD. The design is pretty neat one of the slimmest I have seen. It feels quite solid and is sturdy too. It comes with a small stand which is very well thought of, as it does the job very well. If you are in two minds about buying it as I was, I say GO GET IT, IT IS FAB!!!!

Agreed with Blackmantis, solid and at least a decent brand. Found it for mid £70s on IT247 FYI

And of course, is only for 'backing' up my media.
