It may have 2 year warranty, but when a WD drive of mine broke they asked me to send it to them overseas and they would not refund the postage which would have been over ten pounds.
Luckily amazon were very good and they took it back, and refunded me the postage.
I will no longer buy any WD hard drive, despite the price.

Do your research....

Ask ANYONE on this thread if they'd rather buy from pixmania or amazon

I think you'll get an overwhelming response

Pixmania is a french company, the send euro products with adapters, if it breaks you have to send it to france, then wait a lifeitme to get your money back.... There's a million more reasons
