  don't know how i missed that one! that gives you 8 aaa batteries for free which is pretty handy, i ordered this one for the little extension so i can use some rechargeable instead of AAAs

  Excellent light, have just purchased one and to be honest this is more than enough for me to light the way.

  Hi beam will blind you if you do what i did and look at it!Doh..The quality is excellent on these though. Have just plugged in 3 aaa rechargeable batteries and seems to work just fine.Great piece of kit

  All the Crees come with the extension for the 18650's. Anyway, you won't be disappointed in the Cree.

  from DX, which instead of using Q5 LEDs, use xm-l t6 ones, each capable of around 600-650 lumens. It would be interesting to see if these fit into the mounts on these lights. It may even be possible to mod these lights with the t6 ones.

  got these a while ago - easily good enough for cycle lights. I use one on the front, which is perfectly good on its own, and another on the back with red glass over the white. perfect set

  One says 480 lumen and other advertises 400 lumen, what's the correct output, does anyone have a datasheet from manufacturer ?
