This seems very cheap

The latest addition to the range is a compact digital powerhouse holding a 12 MegaPixel interpolation 5.0MP Sensor camera and camcorder with an integrated image stabiliser and a touch-sensor button menu. You can take up to 2,250 photos or up to 2.5hrs of video straight to the included 1gb SD card (Expandable with other SD Cards) and see your results on the LCD screen.

Or you could pop in to Sainsburys and see if they have a Sony 7MP quailty bit of kit for £30.

I ended up getting that for my mother and the £50 Canon, (from a choice of about 5 cameras) for myself

It's not a 12 megapixel camera. It's a five megapixel camera. The 12 megapixels are interpolated which means they fill in the gaps by guessing what might be there.

Yep, its only a 5 megapixel cam.

You can get an older camera from a decent manufacturer for a price similar to this...

Unbranded 5MP camera, no optical zoom, no idea who makes the sensor or lens.....sorry not worth much more than a £15 as a kids camera or one you don't mind losing on holiday
