Picked up one of these instore last week but also available online for the same price including free delivery
Also if you register with them you get money off vouchers, eg £3 off a £40 spend (add a resistor or something cheap)
Also quidco too
Needs a good freeview signal, but if you have one then it's a neat little gadget, ideal for out and about ( I bought one for when at the F1 GP to track the action I couldn't see - then realised silverstone area hasn't fully gone digitalk yet !)

SECRET3 should bring the total down to £36.99.

This looks like similar to the I think Medion recently on this forum.

My opinion > If you can pick up at least one channel you'll be very lucky > I am in central london and picked up none, sent right back to Medion for refund, I am sure these are similar/same one. Great idea, but in reality just not made well.

dont waste you time/money

Because freeview is well known for its wide array of porn!

I saw this today in Maplin. The box had a blank label deliberately covering the 'Micro SD' slot line, which I could just about make out. Does this model actually have a card slot? It does look very similar to the Medion one, which does have a card slot, and allows regular aerials to be connected (co-ax to jack lead provided).

I bought the Medion one a while back, and am very pleased with the number of channels I can receive. Internal speaker is too quiet, and useability in sunlight is nil, but otherwise a good product.

Does this have an hdmi slot for my xbox 360 and does it do 1080p?

or you could just use tvcatchup on your mobile

I think these will work better when the analog signal is turned off, and the digital power increased.

Dear All, just went to Liverpool street store and bought 1. Says Nikkai entertainment on the box. There is a white tape over the line stating Micro SD socket to playback MP3s or videos(DIVX, Xvid, AVI etc).

Despite the box, does it do these things, or have maplin disabled it?

Report so far, charged the unit, took about 3.5 hours, full charged. Tried using at office, no reception. Used on the train while going home, reception was average, would drop signal, had to keep adjusting the antenna. Once I reached my destination, got off the train, got good signal and nice reception. Was watching BBC news and BBC 1. Kept the system running to check battery life, after running continously over 2.5 hours, battery signal is still over half. So decent battery life. I will try loading mp3 and video files and will also use it on a day trip I will be going on in the weekend and will report on it. So far, so good...
