To be honest if you're after a cable for the long term (like I was) you're better off forking out a couple of quid to get a nice thick one, these thin ones are crap and die after a few weeks!
I just upgraded to a nice shielded oxygen-free copper cable, for a few quid on ebay, and the improvement is significant. No more buzzing, hissing or popping and the sound is much richer and more rewarding. Why scrimp on sound quality when it's something you'll be listening to every day. Treat your ears with the respect they deserve! ;)
Any chance of a link mate? I bought one of these the last time and binned it straight away after it crackling on my car speakers if my phone moved 1 millimeter!
May add that I have one like this and it was only a £1 but has a constant buzzing sound when nothing is playing.
(good post thanks for this was looking for one for the car cheers OP)

They are a business seller, so they are probably paying business postage rates.
Follow advice in post one
