Zavvi are selling "Superman- The Movie", "16 Blocks" and "Gotham Knight" for £9.95 each and they are also on 3 for 2.
This means 3 Blu-Rays for £19.90 which seems a very good deal.

Thanks to Edi for posting Superman.

but they are not in the 3 for 2 offer

im going to order and then moan and get a refund on 1 bluray, i may get the full refund of £9.95 which would make it £16 for the 3 films

hmm zavvi have dispatched my order but also replied to my complaint of charging me for all 3, they are trying to back peddle by saying those 4 blurays which were £9.95 have been removed from the offer. i WILL be getting £9.95 back from them the cheeky monkeys, removing items from an offer when people have already purchased them.

Just noticed this on there website :o

Q: I have a Zavvi gift voucher, can I redeem it?

It is expected that all customers who purchased zavvi gift vouchers from zavvi stores from 27 November 2008 will receive a full refund in respect of the unredeemed value of the gift vouchers. Unfortunately, it is not possible for vouchers to be redeemed in stores.

But a full fefund is offered if you send them here:

yeah Zavvi in administration now too

shame they have turned the ability to buy off their website and I'll have to fight my way into town to hopefully try and get what I wanted :(

Just spotted that too Chodman. Their customer announcement also states further down the page:

"Regrettably, it will not be possible to refund vouchers acquired prior to 27 November 2008. Customers with unredeemed vouchers acquired prior to 27 November 2008 should write to the Joint Administrators at the above address, asking for their claim to be registered as an unsecured claim."

That's a couple of Xmas presents wasted, but commiserations to anyone who's going to lose their job from this :-(

And Babboon, if they hadn't had the problems with their distributors which led to them having to stop taking orders online, maybe they wouldn't have gone into administration. But hey, it's a real pain having to go into town to pick up your bargains....

Shame they are going bump. they bought their stock via Woolworths

Woolworths downfall is why they went out of business

I should have bought shares in administrators, seems like they are the only type of company on the up. :D

Are they saying if I have Zavvi gift vouchers I can't use it in the shops? Please don't tell me this is correct.

I don't think its that you can't use them, its that you can't get your money back. Which is usually the case anyway with vouchers, administration just changes things.

If you can find something in the shops worth buying before the vultures pick the shelves clean, you should still be able to use it to pay for the items.
