cheap booze! Hot

I'm going through a white wine stage atm.

edit: hehe, I said a rude word that turned into stars. It wasn't even that rude!

If you're into wine, Aldi/Lidl do decent tasting wines from sub £3 a bottle. Give 'em a go-you won't be disappointed!
#3
Which ones would you recommend?

I have been buying Lindemans at £8.19 a bottle in this offer, so voted hot

Excellent deal, sad to see it ending, all the Australian red's i've tried on this offer have been delicious, but the Lindemans (bin 50) really is a super wine at 3 bottles for only £10.

Be careful that u get the right bottles in the deal, often non-deal bottles get mixed in, this happened to me. Check your bill to make sure.

The selection is not as good as previously, it is a real shame it is ending though. I wondered how they could keep it going. Echo falls white Zinfandel is delicious but most of the others are those fake deals.. Anyone tried the Elaphant River stuff?

Ditto, happened to me last two weeks

I tried the South African Elephant River (Cab Sav.) and thought it was a very good drop. The shelf price was £5.98 I think.
It makes me smile at the moment because the only good deals at the supermarkets seem to be on booze yet everyone wants you (& me) to drink less...crazy world.

Lmao. hell yes!

Is this instore too?
#15
Yes it is in-store. Plus what I've found is that there is more choice instore than from their website.
As a footnote, I didn't find Lindermans Bin50 in this deal at least not at my local store. They did have Lindermans WineMakers Reserve (or something like that) which is quite nice but has been on offer in Asda for half-price @ 3.99.

And it stands to reason that this promotion is a loss leader, and if you believe that them there is a distinct possibility that pigs do indeed fly.
Just a thought

Well I'm sure that the 2p pork sausage at Asda is a loss leader so perhaps pigs (pun intended) do fly.
Seriously though, I'm sure they are making profit but this is still a good deal.

Great deal. Just purchased a load for my wedding (Chardonnay Viura and Cabarnet Syrah). Fingers crossed they turn up.
