Bought one from Amazon a few weeks ago costing £30+
was a little gutted to find it on sale in the local B and M Homestore (Bolton) for £19.99.
Quite handy, grill is a little small but still managed to cook brekkie for 5 on it.

Got mine from Hemel branch - solid bit of kit and the cheapest I've seen..

This is a v good price for a 3 burner stove with grill. Shame we don't have a B&M outlet down here in Devon. Anybody know who this product is made by (Coleman, Gelert, Campingaz etc).?
#3
Thanks OP, what sort of connector does this have?,
(i'm looking at fitting a large gas bottle ideally)

cheers

Hope these are reliable.
Of course, should the one the OP bought eariler go wrong, especially so soon after buying it, he'd quite reasonably expect to ba able to take it back for a refund.

It's a "Home Essentials'' brand, not heard of it myself but the construction is good, easily on a par with the campingaz one I've been using. It has the standard gas pipe fitting coming out of the side which will enable either propane or butane bottles (via regulator) to connect with a standard gas hose. It also has the piezo ignition so no faffing about burning the hairs of the back of your hand with lighters. It folds down really flat too...

great find! will hopefully be able to pick one up on the way home from work!

Thanks Op, I noticed it's also marked as a highlander brand on amazon too.
Good to know it can deal with proper size bottles, makes it more worthwhile.

Thanks for the advice - it looks/sounds v similar to the Gelert equivalent (currently selling at £39.99 @ Mountain Warehouse). Top find

anyone recommend a regulator and hose to use with this?
#10
The regulators are pretty standard - any camping/caravan type place (probably B&Q as well) will have them, just make sure you have the right type for your bottle. The bottles themselves are expensive to buy in the first place then when empty you just swap them for a full one for a few quid depending on size (901, 904 and 907 for camping gaz refillable ones), make sure you keep the screw in carry handle when swapping, some stores can be funny about an exchange without. Best tip is get the initial bottle from a boot sale (I wouldn't go more than a fiver) and pay to exchange when empty.

Oh and the pipes should be hose-clipped on as well.....
#12
pack 4 butane gas canisters to go with this only £3.99
#13
PermissionToRock - if these are the aerosol cans are you sure these will fit? This stove is a regulator/bottle job unless I'm missing something...

In my local B&M (Summerston, Glasgow) they were on the shelf at £49.99. They were branded as "Outdoor Essentials" too. Should I just ask if they're selling them for £20??
#15
Im thinking of something completely diffrent.....my bad...... i work in b&m and never seen this..... hmmm......will have to try and order some in
#16
Blammo - go for it, quote the Hemel branch as stocking them recently..
