Whilst the Any Two For £10 offer is pretty good there is a better offer on.

Found this whilst looking for albums by The Eels. Most of it's what usually appears in this kind of offer but I also spotted Public Enemy, Rainbow and Thin Lizzy in there too.

Why would you want to pay for CD when you can download them for free
#2
to support the artist? but i rarely buy CD's too, they get too much money if you ask me. i work and get paid buttons compared to singers
#3
Yeah, because all the money goes directly to the artist, all of which are unquestionably millionaires.

Nice spot though OP, Eels are great and there are some other decent albums in there too (Bachman Turner Overdive, The Best of Let Loose, Chris De Burgh, S Club, Ace of Base) . Some Sonic Youth / Jam / GZA / Cat Stevens / J. J. Cale too.

Bought myself three albums.

Cheers.

using that theory why would you pay for anything mentioned on this site when you can simply go into a shop and steal it? because it isnt a tangable object does that make stealing it acceptable?

Bands rarely see the money from albums, McCartney has something in his contract where he earns 100% of the actual sales, and his management etc get paid out of the interest...

Downloading is good for testing the water with bands you may not have heard of, or are unsure if they're a one single band, but nothing beats opening a cd or record for the first time and playing it.

Voted hot because a) its a cracking offer and b) you're an eels fan... I just replaced my worn out, earlier releases with shiny new copies.

Not relevant, but if you get chance read E's book "Things the grandchildren should know", do it...its a great read.

I'll vote hot for an eels fan too, you might have guessed i'm one too by my username

Awesome - THANKS ... Ive been looking at getting some Eels albums when they become discounted. I forgot about the 'essential hits' and 'Trinkets' released last month, but for 20 quid i might as well purchase their full discography instead

Did anyone see the Mark Everett Doc the other week? His Dad was a Quantum Physics genius. IMHO he is a MUSICAL genius.

Godamright its a beautiful day.

... Erm .... from PLAY.COM as OP states ?!? :p Their 6 albums (3 for a tenner, hence all 6 for 20 quid) ;-) ... Or do i misunderstand you :? ... Its a shame 'Blinking lights' is currently out of stock though.

Thanks for posting this La_fouinard, I got the 3 remaining Eels albums that I didn't have. By the way, Eels - Live at Town Hall is only a fiver there if anyone is into that kind of thing.

omisnad, I think he thought you meant the newer releases were included as well, as really the b-sides would fall under the "full disocgraphy".
