I bought this set from Maplin a couple of months ago. It is good value but the tools are a bit underpowered. The sander and saw just about cope but the rotary tool is quite feeble. I find the drill bits keep coming out- I did choose the correct chuck- but they still come out. If the tool meets any resistance it grinds to a halt. I have a wizard which is much more powerful and use the bits from the Maplin set in that!
Good value but don't expect it to be great.

It looks like a nice find, but I'll take your advice, underpowered tools are useless. Lots of kit for the money though. Might be alright for someone.

Cheers.
