3 issues of Games™ Magazine for £1.00 @ Games™

I used the deal on here last year to get 3 issues for a £1 then cancelled before having to pay full price. I did this a few time throughout out the year, but now the old code doesnt work.

Does anyone know if this deal is the same trail? i.f. 3 issues for a £1 then cancel without any troubles afterwards?

It's direct Debit so cancelling will be the same yeah. Not sure how long you have to leave it between subs. I just got my 3rd issue a month ago from when I last did this, anyone know if I can jump right back on?

Not bad for a read on the bog, but i prefer my news current so use the interweb.

But heat added because you are an obvious Transformers/Grimlock fan.

Awesome stuff, GamesTM is the best written games magazine IMO

Good price, did this offer a few months ago. Got first issue, cancelled and received all 3. No problems at all.
#7
Ordered and heat. thanks

Cheers. From previous experience of other short term subscriptions you sometimes get lucky and get a few more mags after you cancel - had nearly a year's worth of one! (not gamesTM but you never know...)
#9
have some heat, done this before so not sure if they will let me again

Cheers i love these deals thanks
#11
Yes i just had mine finished 3 for a quid. So 3 more for a quid. Cheers!

I cancel as soon as the first pound comes off everytime!
#12
thanks, ordered

Is there a promotional code we have to enter?
Or is it simply the '3 issues for £1.00, then £18.90 every 6 issues by direct debit' option.

Then just cancel after DD takes off the first £1?..

People that buy them 3 for a £1 and cancel ruin these offers because they always stop them; because of people abusing the special offer! If you cant afford £3 for a magazine then you can't afford a game console...

So people should not take advantage of the '3 issues for £1' offer...because then there will be no more '3 issues for £1' offers? Okay.

I disagree with this bit. Predominantly, people who buy the magazine, will be buying it as they're a games enthusiast and own a console - whether it be the full RRP or on any kind of offer.

The guy has the 'Apple' logo for a profile pic - therefore I'm guessing that he knows nothing about machines that can actually play games. ;)

It's not that people cannot afford it. But paying for a dying media seems counterproductive when you can find the same information for free, i.e the internet. But what's a £1?

Something to read on the bog, anyhow. xD

These offers have been going on for years and yes ive ended up with 3 other Mags with a full subscription because of these £1 offers. Don`t forget these company's still pay top buck for Ads but more importantly get there games well covered and reviewed. When Games reviews a game it goes up on the net and its still important for the company's to get good review in the magazine itself.

Games magazine is one of the most respected of them all.

When do they stop them? Because they sure seem like they're doing them yet again. They're offering it, this isn't abuse if they offer three ad-filled issues for a quid. It would be if people were signing up for it multiple times (a little pointless, mind).

Ok. I trust you'll not be signing up for this then, but intend to pay full price.

It's not that I can't afford £3 for a magazine - but why pay more if a) I don't need to, and b) I've never read the magazine, so don't even know if I'll like it.

Your logic makes no sense.

I have to agree. If there's an offer like this available then what's the point in ignoring it? It's not like anyone's cheating the system, or out to screw over gamesTM. They're happily making this offer available. I'm sure they would cancel it if it was ruining them or something. And I'm saying this as someone who does actually buy the magazine at full price once every other month, so it's not like I wanna see them shut down.

Also, had a cheeky look to see if there were any Quidco or Topcashback deals. Couldn't find anything.
#26
Might be worth pointing out that the full price for this magazine isn't £3 but more like £5. Anyway good deal, heat added.
#27
But far cheaper on subscription.
#28
I got an order rejection on this.
#29
Good offer, thanks. Hot

How come? Have you previously used a £1 for 3 issues for GamesTM or Future Publishing?

YEp it's one per person even through affiliates, I'm sure there's a cheeky way around it but meh.

I've used the 3 for £1 for their smartphone magazine offer (which was rubbish) and got a confirmation through for this; hopefully will go through ok!

Is this deal gone now? Following the link takes me to the gamestm homepage and clicking subscribe from there just gives me the usual options...

Can that code be used to exploit the other magazines they do?

Am interested in some of the smart phone ones.

Going to give this a go. Never subscribed to a magazine before - to cancel do I have to contact the publishers/customer service or just cancel the direct debit with my bank?
