Difficult to prove this one but I have just done it and got my maglite.

Go to the link provided. It was advertised in last months mag. Similar to auto express offer! :)

Why not do both??? :D

It is genuine - call them and quote the offer code C1006A to check! :)

Mags alone worth £12 odd.

how long did it take for you to get the mini maglite?

Thanks

Usually the Computer Shopper offer and PC Pro come with the free toolkit(I've got 4 lol).

Every time I have done these offers the free gift arrives pretty quick
#3
Many Thanks, I have just subscribed, would prefer the mini tool kit to be honest.

I already took advantage of the maglite offer from the auto express.

Appreciated.

I'll swap the toolkit for a maglite. Where are you?

Why does it say '6 issues' in the photo, but only 3 offered here?

Different offer code.
The toolkit is offer code N0908XWEB.
The maglite is offer code C1006A.

So long as you use the link provided in this deal, I'm pretty sure you'll get the maglite.

The toolkit is pretty rubbish. I got one a while ago - never used it.

I beg to differ, I have one of the toolkits from a previous offer and use it all the time, really handy for the kitchen drawer! Brilliant for changing kids toy batteries, plug sockets, backs of watches etc etc.

Also have two of the mini-maglites and would say they are pretty useless, just gave them to the kids as toys as they dont give out much light. Would have been better if it was the next size up but then what do you expect for a quid!?

Same here. It was even too bad to give it to the charity shop. I would be very happy to swap it for a maglite --- I'm in North London if there are any takers?

Hi, I have just called them and they've not got any Maglites in stock at the moment but I've been advised to ring back wednesday to sort out the subscription; hope this helps. NB as far as I know, you DO have to call in order to get the gift.
#23
You didnt haft to make a call, when you singed yp with computer active to get the free usb key. So I wonder why you haft to do that for this offer then? Or am I jumping the gun, and if it's that you request the maglite instead of the tool kit?
#24
Nice deal, order both for tool kit and maglite, and ill just cancel the DD once the 2 x £1.00 are taken :-)

I have used this offer a few times, just wait until you have received your second issue, then phone up and just say you want to cancel your subscription.
They will cancel for you and tell you that you still have one issue to receive.
I have never had any problems with this method.I always cancel the direct debit myself after I have phoned them (just to be on the safe side)

How do you mean cancel the direct debit? Do you mean with the bank? Just checking, because things might be different here compared to Australia (bank told me they couldn't cancel direct debits once you'd authorised them, when a dodgy ISP that we left decided to keep charging).
#27
I didnt call. Ify you look at the address bar it includes the offer code.
#28
'if' you use internet banking then after the £1 is deducted just cancel it, no need to phone or anything
Ive done this several times, i still received all the subscription i paid for and the free gift if it had one with zero issues

heat added and ive ordered mine, its actually not a bad magazine too which is a plus ;)

Yea, just cancel it at your bank. Shouldn't be any problem there.

I got this maglite free with auto-express. It's tiny, not much bigger then the single AAA it uses.

Hot deal as the free DVD always has at least 1 useful program on it. Like 6 months of Norton Internet Security a couple of months ago.

The thing is now, which mage do you go for. The computer shopper, or the pc pro? As they are both same company. If I remeber rightly, compuer shopper is a good read on some of articles they have, thou, to many bloody adverts. I say 4 fiths of magzine is adverts.

Not sure on pc pro thou. I know it's a more expensive magzine

Just received my maglite - no complaints for £1! Small, not terribly powerful, but will be more than enough to navigate at night. Thanks TS.
