Yeah :) Thanks for the reminder jenz ;)
#3
Still available with the free toolkit which is worth £1 on its own ;)
#4
Thanks for this ;) Will make a nice present for my dad ;P

How do you cancel, out of curiosity?
#5
Cancel by phone when you receive the third issue [might be four issues actually, but check that out on subsinfo.co.uk when subscribed].
#6
Nice find, has anyone received their toolkits from any previous subs?

Cheers and keep up the good finds
#7
Yeah received mine ;)
#8
Is it good!?

I hate phoning people, is there no e-mail cancellation? :P
#9
I think they would accept e-mail cancellations, but really the phone call takes about two minutes. You only need to say you want to cancel your subscription and they do it there and then. Also reminding you to cancel your direct debit with your bank. Excellent customer services at Dennis Publications :)

The toolkit is worth the £1 for the long nose pliers and magazine cover DVD disc has full free programmes on it, often very useful too :)
#11
I cancelled mine by cancelling my Direct Debit, Didn't phone anyone.

Yeah thats it.You could cancel your DD as soon as they have taken the £1 from your bank and i am pretty sure that you will still get all the free issues of the mag.Just don't cancel before they take their Quid or it will not get processed.;-)
#15
Welcome to HotUKDeals Tom|Nbk :) Thanks for the post.

As bazr says, cancel when you've received the third issue. I prefer to call them to do this myself ;)
#16
I cancelled my Computer Active like that too...
#17
right ive ordered, ive also checked out the other mag's they do 3 issues for a quid, this is pretty excellent means i can just get 3 issues of different mag's, as soon as i get the 1st issue and my 1 quid has been taken i can cancel right as it does state your paying a quid for 3 issues on the confirm screen
#18
I think if you cancel it early you only get the magazine that was sent out to you.

Also, I'm a nub at this sort of thing and I be with the HALIFAX! How I cancel the whole direct debit thing?

Also posted this to help bump it up as this is one HOT deal worth doing!
#19
Thanks fps_kyle :)

It's correct, if you cancel before the third magazine, you won't receive all three.

A quick telephone call will get the subscription cancelled and Dennis Publications customer services are fine about it, no problems.

Cancelling with the Halifax: Do you have an online account? If so, you should be able to do it using links on their website. Best bet on that otherwise, is to give the Halifax a call too or an e-mail...

Yeah I do have online banking, thanks ;)
#21
Offer still available :)

Has anyone received their toolkit with this?

All dennis have told me is:

I am able to confirm that a Rolson Toolkit had been allocated for you,
however due to these being quite popular we are currently awaiting more
stock.

Once this has been received please be assured that one will be dispatched
to you.

If you log in to http://www.subsinfo.co.uk using your subscription number, it should say in there whether it's on back order or not...

Can't find anything on there regarding free gifts  (is possible i'm being blind)
#25
Probably too late tonight to give them a call, but I would do that using the number from subsinfo [might have to be tomorrow now though].

Got mine yesterday. Signed up for the offer 5 weeks ago.
#27
Grrrrrr will be on to them then as i ordered 2 months ago

They are still running the offer, as I just signed up for this. So they must still have the kits in stock then, perhaps they are just slow getting hold of them. The page said "allow 28 days for delivery".

Anyway, went through quidco for £8 and also signed up to "bizarre" for 3 months and "the week" for 6 weeks (they are doing another £4 quidco cashback btw). ...So free cash and free stuff, can't complain! :)
