"I can cancel my subscription at any time within the 3 issues for £1 introductory period and no more than the original £1 will be debited from my account. The first 3 issues, plus free toolkit, will be mine to keep whatever I decide."
#2
So is it a direct debit, that you just "cancel"?

Well I subscribed to CustomPC last week and have already had the free gift, first issue I'm due to receive is the 15th April one. I like the magazine and buy it most months anyway so a subscription is a good deal for me, especially at £1 for the first 3 issues. Voted hot

Did this last year, received the tool kit after I got the first issue, not bad quality for free...
#10
seems a very good deal but cant b done with hassle heat added!
#11
Went for it, it's only a £1 if I don't work and I get a few magazines.
#12

i have always had my free gifts with pc mags and maxim, i have only once not had what was advertised then they sent somethign else which was worth more.
#14
The toolkit is a whopping £3.50 to buy
#15
Well, that's quite ironic - did this about 2 years ago and got this very same tool-kit. When I received it, it went into the back of the cupboard never to be seen again - until last night - when I needed it for the first time to take a card out of my PC !! It's not a bad little kit - cheap and cheerful and compact. Probably not worth more than a few pounds.

Did this last year.

Decent tool kit for the price.

Good magazine. I'm going for another £1 for 3 issues. Thanks for the headsup [again] OP

Oh, and I already have 2 of those free kits off two different magazines! :-D
#18
hmmmmm....i've taken this offer a couple of times and not once received the free toolkit, still, 3 magazines for a quid is a bargain in itself.

I got this before. I would feel guilty to do it again. I got my toolkit worth an apparent £24.99 at the time, I like it so purchased a back-up from poundworld!

got an email for this but the free gift was only a key ring, this is better so cheers :) its not a bad read and 3 for £1 is great, there is a credit crunch on you know ;)
