Country Manor Perry 3L

Admitedly not the finest wine in the world, but great value for the equivalent of over 4 bottles of wine/perry.

Perfect for house parties or pre-drinks before going out.

Hi
I've changed your title as Perry and Wine are quite different
#2
seems like a good way to kick off a night out
#3
Very fair point - and quick off the mark :)
#4
pear cider isnt it?perry?

pear cider isnt it?perry?

sort of, same sort of process. but is a tad different.

EDIT: CAMRA defines perry and pear cider as quite different drinks, stating that "pear cider" as made by the large industrial cidermakers is merely a pear-flavoured drink, or more specifically a cider-style drink flavoured with pear concentrate, whereas "perry" should be made by traditional methods from perry pears only

Wow, you guys are serious drinkers. 22.5 units before you go to the pub!

CAMRA might define that and I may be sceptical, but hard to believe this stuff is made by traditional methods I'm afraid.

agreed, i was merely stating what the difference was. Most people probably wouldnt know the difference anyways. And there are a few 'pear ciders' that should rightly be known as perry anyway!

Personally at the price of this I'd try it though, like micoo said if not good for pre-night out drinks.
and yes ive been known to knock back 15 units (35cl vodka) before going out

Hardly drink nowadays though, so its all balanced out!:whistling:

ps. never seem to get a hangover off perry!!

#17
I used to love this a year or two ago, cheap as anything and great to get drunk on, but now i can't stand it!!!!
#18
ASDA have a similar brand of "Le Sol" which is now £3.99 (was£3.49 a few months back).

Both these brands are great and good for house parties.

what is the %?

what is the %?

from memory I think it's 7.5% abv.

Terrible stuff... best drunk in pint glasses IMO - not good enough for a smaller glass as you tend to sup it quickly.

Wouldnt dream of having this out at a party - credibility rating would be slaughtered.

Horrible stuff, i wouldn't buy it even at this price.

Yeah best used for playing 'ring of fire'

Excellent price. Good on it's own or used as a mixer.
One good thing is you can cut it out of the cardboard box and smuggle it into work or the football.
#25
This is stronger AND tastes better

Haha, good one.

use to buy this a couple of years ago when it was less than £4 surprisingly good to say it's in the same category as Lambrini. Please don't slate it until you've tried it.

Try stitching it into your underpants and getting on a flight - much better than buying drinks on Easyjet!
