Thats actually one months is it not? when I used a 3mobile dongle I always bought 3gb worth for one months.

so it will run out in 30 days

if you havent used the 3gb by then you'll lose the rest

still agreat deal as youre getting a £15 top up free. But it will not last 3 months...just one

If it's the same as this, then it should be valid for 3 months.

Can these dongles be unlocked for free? I did a quick search & could only find DCUnlocker which you need to pay to use (although it has always worked well for me). They also look to be problematical if used with Android http://android.modaco.com/content/advent-vega-vega-modaco-com/334821/zte-mf112-broadband-dongle/

This is a great deal but the 3gb/3 montn sim is only £10 on amazon not the £20 quoted by the op. Still well worth the money and hot!

MF112, no good with Android 2.1. Although not tried writing a Linux script for it yet.

Incidentally, my MF112 looks quite different to one in picture.

I know the 3gb sim can be picked up cheaper elsewhere, the quote I gave was expansys price, think it's about £12 on amazon but haven't checked

That's just one person saying they couldn't get their's to work with a Vega. There are far more involved discussions if you google further.

I can confirm it is 3 months internet you get as the same model number (17152) can be found here, on Amazon.

Those who are looking to unlock this modem, try here to generate the unlock code:-
http://a-zgsm.com/calculator/index.php?act=submit

I think the unbranded dashboard can be had from here too:- http://dc-files.com/index.html
Select ZTE from the dropdown, then MF112, then select connection manager/driver for your OS. (http://dc-files.com/files/zte/modems/MF112/)

Pair this up with a T-Mobile micro-sim. Free if purchased with £10 top-up in store otherwise £5.
£10 top-up will get you free 12 month internet. Don’t forget to ask for a sim adaptor.
Details here: http://www.t-mobile.co.uk/shop/iphone/micro-sim/

Got a link for that at all? I still have a 3 modem from a while back, and I have 2 3 phones that can be tethered, wouldn't mind £10 and swapping in the sim to get 3gb data usage, especially for video uploads.

They do seem to pop up and down in price, I bought one a few weeks ago and one even last week as a spare and they were just above the £10 mark (£10.20 I think) but in a few days they have increased.

In any case, the deal posted here is a bargain, sell the dongle and you'd still be quids in, I prefer a mifi myself.

You can't buy it now though at that price, they have put the price up to £27.99,maybe that's what it should have been in the first place and it was a misprice

Can someone advise me if this deal is worth it or not.Quidco is giving £25 on pay-as-you-go O2 mobile broadband here.

Definately worth it if quidco pays out,the pay as you go dongles are only £20.42 so they're paying you to take it,you should post this as a deal, must be a mistake
